People discover the channel because of Splatoon, but they often don't check if there are any videos or what the channel is actually about. They simply assume that the channel is solely dedicated to Splatoon. There was an announcement made a month ago explaining what's been going on and the reasons behind it. Unfortunately, it seems like many people saw a wall of text and didn't bother to read it, subsequently forgetting that the announcement even existed. After some time passes, they return to the channel and say, "I’m confused af. Where r the splatoon/salmon contents?" I guess the good thing is that it hasn't turned into a hub for toxic hate messages.
I actually thought this was a Wayfinder channel and was happy to have this source of all information. Sadly 2 days before the game lost steam for me, this channel stopped featuring Wayfinder. Guess we all moved on way too fast.
