Gottadamn, I miss how absolutely brutal these games used to be. You felt like you were in an actual war having to fight your way out of some serious grit. The bodyguards were complete badasses too
finally beat him on normal for the first time, granted I actually tried. Requires that you defeat virtually everyone on the map and let your generals beat the hell out of him until his health is significantly lower. Felt like I achieved something lol.
The part when the song goes "ahhh" lol. Also currently playing hyrule warriors with this games ost in the background in an attempt to relive my childhood. This game was number one in early 2000s.
Dynasty Warriors > League of Legends. Not only it's a battle arena, but it has fun hack and slash. Don't you find it satisfying when you swipe all enemies around you and they take massive damage?
The amount of times he knock enemies officers to the ground with full combos INSTEAD of 2-3 hit combos to allow them to full heal drove daggers thru me. All that wasted time.
I love how DW2 didn’t give a single care for historical deaths. Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Lu Meng, Taishi Ci and Zhou Yu in Yiling, Dian Wei appearing in Changban lol
Jesus just seeing the map after 15+ years brings back so many memories
Same here.i even remenber the intro...great game
Just relived my youth watching this, a masterpiece of its time.
15+? maybe 20+?

47:09 ¿por que -3900 en SPECIAL?
Yesss bro
this game is really special, it really makes you feel like you're in a battle. the early 3D kind of Dreamcast-y look is soo nostalgic for me.
The Difficulty on Hard mode is tougher than Later dw entries.
While DW3 is my favorite, this one was the most realistic one
@@hurricane7727 It's the hardest game in the series so it makes sense.
that wind valley haunts me til this day.
Hu lou Gate was solid
Lu Bu was ridiculously OP

This game was such a buzz for me as a kid, I had never played anything like it before!

So I see the Dynasty Warriors series was developed by Midas Games before Omega Force took over. Interesting...
It was developed by Omega Force. Midas was just a publisher in Europe.
@@SerdceDanko Oh, OK.
Don't remember that Midas opening
1:27:04 I got mad and switched off my PS2 when this happened
This is just like warbutt
I forgot how Guan Yu was in the cutscene for Yi Ling. It didn't dawn on me, "um...Yi Ling can't happen if Guan Yu's still alive, guys." X3 lol!

It's mental thinking how inaccurate the history and pronouciation of names used to be. 3 was my starting game but I did have a soft spot for this game
