Hearing this reminds me too much of my step-grandmother and how I used to enjoy listening to her when she started singing while visiting she used to be a professional opera singer before she retired from the stage and went into banking on top of the fact she also had epilepsy to boot. And this was one of many songs I remember hearing her sing. Plus she was one of however many singers who could hit c above high c. Since I witnessed so many times that glass objects and widows shaking as d coming close to shattering at the sound of her voice and a few times where we couldn't stop her on time and having glass shatter all around us. And thanking God that we were never hit with it.
I am 69 yrs old. When in hs, a group of us would go to Farrels ice cream parlor after games. We would sing pieces from our hs choir class. I love listening to the excellent piano and all the love you bring to everyone. (We did get applause too, many years ago-1970).
They're amazing singers, but with a difficult song like Carmina Burana they needed someone to conduct for accurate entries and cut-offs. I enjoyed watching the small crowd, enjoying them.
