  • The Capella Bali was voted the world’s best hotel by Travel + Leisure magazine. Is it? In part 4 of our Bali’s best hotels & resorts series, you be the judge. Our Bali 10 best hotels list had to be cut down to 8 because we tried some other hotels that were disappointing - we only recommend what we've tried and love. Join us as we take you through this Bali glamping experience at the weirdest (in a good way), wildest and maybe the most unique hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
    Book your stay now: www.booking.com/hotel/id/cape...
    Check out The Swank Guide's Bali E-book (table of contents below), here's the link: swankguide.com/bali-ebook
    Our ultimate resort and hotel guide will take you inside the best hotels in Bali. We visited 30 hotels and stayed at 10 to find the 8 best; how can you make an honest recommendation if you don't try a hotel first. We'll share our candid and uncensored opinions so that you can see if this hotel is the right place for you.
    Surrounded by a tropical rainforest and rolling hills, it's the kind of place that makes you forget about the rest of the world. This Bali resort is just 15 minutes from Ubud, Bali’s cultural hub.
    This luxe resort has 23 ultra-private glamping tents that don't feel like tents at all, all with their own plunge pools. And even though it's tucked away in the jungle, it's only about an hour's drive from the airport, so you can get your vacay started fast.
    This place isn't cheap, but if you're looking for the ultimate luxury experience, it might be worth it. You can expect to pay around $1,000 per night, depending on the season and villa type. And trust me, the villas are worth it - they come with all the bells and whistles.
    When it comes to dining, you can choose from Indonesian cuisine, Western fare, and even a chef's table experience. For activities, you can take a guided hike through the jungle, learn how to cook traditional Balinese food, or just relax and unwind with a spa treatment.
    WHY YOU CAN TRUST US: Our recommendations are 100% unbiased; we choose what we think is best. We’ve partnered with Booking.com because that ensures we can get you the lowest price. In most cases, you also have ample time to cancel.
    Our goal is to save you time by finding the best hotels and experiences for you, and eliminate the stress of paying for something before you understand if it’s right for you. We work with total editorial independence. That means nothing appears in our videos as a recommendation unless we’ve tried it and loved it. These are the hotels and activities we choose for ourselves and recommend to our family and friends.
    We strive to be the most trusted, the most transparent, boutique hotel recommendation service…. ever. If you choose to use our link to book a hotel, you are supporting our work. You can go around us - it won’t save you any money. This hotel commission fee supports us as we travel the world looking for the best places, small booking commissions are how we cover most of our expenses.

    I heard The Capella is being built at Kyoto,so I watched this video.The Capella Bali is very wide, I thought it is not a hotel, it's a resort park.Your video is very interesting!

    I'm hoping to travel to Bali next year. I'm not sure about this place. I'm torn because it looks great but I don't know if I'd want to stay there. Definitely different though 🙂

    Do you prefer this tent/camp concept better than the concept of Buahan by Banyan Tree? Buahan's villas have no walls, completely open to the elements.

    hello there! thank you for the video. I also watched your video on Como Shambala. I know of course they are both different and offer different things, but which one do you think is better in terms of overall experience and room quality if we could only pick one?

    • @SwankGuide
      @SwankGuide  Год назад +2

      That's tough - but guess I'd go w Capella - really fun experience. Both are great - Como is more wellness focused while Capella is just kinda wild and so unique. Enjoy

      one other thought - the Como Shambhala has a sister property in Ubud called the Uma. That's will be our #1 rec in Ubud - and it's 1/2 or 1/3 the price of the Capella and Como S.... that video will be out in 3 weeks or so. So if you are thinking on staying at more than 1 place that might be a good option to combine w Capella.

    Nice video.
    Can I ask you something very important regarding the credibility of any review?
    Do you pay for your stay, meals, and services at the hotels you cover?
    Did you receive any incentives to review this hotel?

    • @SwankGuide
      @SwankGuide  8 месяцев назад +1

      I guess I should make this clearer... I mention it in some of my vids but not all. Anyway... yes I pay for my stays, the hotel doesn't even know what I'm doing. No piad incentives whatsoever from hotel or sponsor.
