Sir, I am suffering from Chronic Liver Disease (Alcoholic Liver Disease). The disease was initially diagnosed in the year 2020 (December). Jaundice and severe asites was diagnosed during my first visit to the hospital. USG and Endoscopy were done. In USG small stones were observed in both kidneys. They still exist. Esophageal varices were observed in Endoscopy (4 in nos and mild). The medications continued till end of December 2013. Ultimately the doctor had to go in for TIPS because of severe recurring asites and pedal edema with pain. As of today TIPS procedure is working fine. But i still have problems such as stomach fullness, difficulty in swallowing, constipation, severe itching throughout body and extreme back pain. Upon performing CT scan osteoporosis was also observed in lower lumbar region and mid back regions. In this scenario can I still go for stem cell treatment??

Ultrasound : CLD portal HTN splenomegaly and mild ascites
HGB: 8.4, S.Bilirubin: 3.6, S. Albumin: 3.8, SGOT: 31, SGPT: 54
16th Jan 23 & 6th Feb 23 : 2 times banding is done.
Treatment is going from SGPGI, Lucknow. In medication, cardivas 3.125 twice a day is recommended.

To 120 kg. Deadlift 145 kg to 160 kg,, my body weight 79.5 kg,, strongest in our gym 🏋️♂️ you will be surprised my present age is 55, will be 56 this December. I am releasing all my anger about my disease in the gym,, at least I don't want to die weak,,, healthy diets, no alcohol makes a lot difference,,,,

Sir I have heard that cirrosis can only occur when a person is taking too much alchohol otherwize liver cirrosis cannot occur.But one of my friend told me that inherited disorders of sugar metabolism, such as galactosemia or glycogen storage disease can also cause cirrosis of liver.So sir which one is true?
Liver cirrhosis is a result of fatty liver. Fatty liver can occur due to anything and everything as basic as eating too much fat food everyday like burger, pizza, cold drink, deep fried food, etc. so yes technically your friend is correct. It is a myth that liver cirrhosis can only happen due to alcohol. Take care, eat healthy and stay healthy.
