I'm impressed with this guys. 'cept for their frequent use of "english" in this presentation. makes me wonder kung sino ba ang audience? - on one hand they separate their group from the rest of ppop crew dahil as ALAMAT they identify their focus with Filipino culture & attributes yet ang dalas magsalita ng english. 🤔if they are also presenting sa non- filipino speaking audience, then I can see why.
Isn’t it part of being Filipino, that we are good English speakers. Speaking the English language does not make them less Filipino. And we should not worry about the audience coz I’m very sure all Filipinos understand English. Ganun tayo kagaling kaya kahit saang part pa ng mundo tayo ibato kayang kaya natin mag survive.

Add ko na rin to the other comments, technically different languages naman ung nirerepresent ng each member, if they'd go on brand talaga, 6 languages ang labas ng interview nila 😅. Tapos may members din talaga na di as fluent in Filipino as compared to speaking in english or their local tongue. I guess they decided na safest pa rin na medium for them is to convey things in english. Kulang lang din sa vid ung pakita/parinig ng parts na in different local languages ung songs nila kaya kulang ung showcasing ng brand nila
Not everyone can speak fluent Tagalog, or express themselves eloquently in Tagalog, since their native tongue is another Filipino language. One of them (Taneo) also grew up in the US, so is naturally more comfortable in English. BUT he still speaks Ilocano, so there you go. For me it's a good thing because when the time comes they get to go global, communication won't be a problem (think: RM of BTS or 3 of 4 Blackpink members)
Hindi dapat nililimitahan ang talento ng mga Pilipino. Alam mo bang sa buong Southeast Asia marami nang mga Boy groups na influenced ng Kpop/Jpop? So why not the Philippines also have it? Buti nga marami nang nagsisisulputan na mga Ppop groups, nakakatulong sila na palawakin pa ang istilo ng musikang Pinoy. Maging open minded naman kayo just for once. Kapag Pinoy artist may influence from American/British music, okay lang sa inyo, pero kapag may Pinoy artist na may influence from Korean/Japanese music nagsisitalak kayo na "gaya gaya" sila? Napapaghalataang hipokrito kayo.

Isn't English, an official language of the Philippines? It's been part of Filipino identity to use/speak English language.
