funny I stumbled on this one.... I have 'doodled' patterns for 41 years way before zentangle was 'zentangle'... I'm 47. id get n trouble for filling in all the gaps of the phonebook! And not long ago I had started doing this one because I had loved the way it looked, but somehow could never get it 'perfect'.. not the way "I" wanted it to look anyway. But had never actually SEEN it done. Seeing you do it made it much easier .... made more sense. LOL I was making way harder than it need be. Thanks.. sometimes, our brains think things have to be one way, when really it doesn't have to be, HAHA
Great Video... just did this one and it come out great! Just curious - what pencil did you use? I used 3B (what I had laying around) and it blended ok with a stump but isn't as creamy as I would like. Thx for sharing!
Barry Craft Thanks for watching my videos Barry. In this video I use a 1B pencil for shading, which is a pencil that is 1 grade softer then the regular schoolpencil... Happy Tangling!

@@mysecretsketchbook865 i learned zentangle about 13 years ago, taught myself. I guess i just can figure out patterns quite easely. Was born with the talent drawing, been doing it all my life how kind to ask ❤
I wish your camera is stable and could see the entire paper on which the pattern is made. Because of the incompleteness I lose interest in watching . Just a suggestion.
