Also, the one positive thing marooner's has is Low Tide, it is literally a completely different map that is adjacent to High and Mid tide, thus not having most of the problems that those have.
Thank you sm! I appreciate it :D And yeah I personally prefer junction most of the time because mmm so many egg,,, but I can see it being hard for newer players or people who have a hard time recognizing when things can lead to a loss 🤔
@@mossyquartzzidk about that, for nt its pretty simple to let the bosses come up and lt its the easiest lt to ever low tide. High tide is the only tide newer players can have trouble with because its all about killing. Junction is objectively the best just because it has a better nt and hydro lt is certainly bringing down. But atlas hydro nt and ht are so ez that its really just a tie and will differ depending on the skill level
That's fair! Even though it has the "sockeye" theme, I think they could've done more to make it stand out. But at the same time, I totally understand the devs wanting a more accessible, easy map to help newer players learn the mode before playing the tougher maps
All splatoon player knows that Marooner´s Bay is not only a map, if not THE MAP, that most of players see it and decided to not play it, only if the boat have god weapeons people try to grind it, also here is my tier list: S: Jammin Salmon Juction , Sockeye Station A: Gone Fission Hydroplant, Bonerattle Arena B: Spawning Grounds, Salmonid Somkeyard C: Marooner´s Bay I wanna more what others have their own tierlist
Create a new tier named F tier and put marooner's there. Grounds should go to C tier, B tier can be renamed to [Gap] to show just how much worse those 2 maps are compared to the other ones. Otherwise, this is a decent video, I enjoyed the editing.
I should do that tbh 🤔 perhaps when I get some footage of big big run! Barnacle was a weird one, it'll be interesting to revisit it (and all the other stages)
@@mossyquartzz i would like to add that a lot of br maps were more or less dependent on the grizzco weapon available. Inkblot is usually lower on most lists because it only had gbrella (the worst one) so it couldn’t get exploited. The major loser of the next BIG big run is eeltail because we only get groller and not the ever vital godbucket and gsword.
Yeah that makes sense, Inkblot was my personal favorite stage but it's true that the Grizzco weapon matters a lot in the perception and feel of some stages
Truly cannot stand junction in freelance. People do not have enough spatial awareness. It’s just so difficult without complex communication to help keep bosses on the teams radar.
When they announced Splatoon 3, they said that they were gonna add updates to the game for 2 years after launch. And unfortunately we're in the (supposed) last season of the game :') But, they have done content extensions for both Splatoon 1 and Splatoon 2, so there's always hope for PvP. Seems like Salmon Run is over for now though
I hope i don't come across as too negative, but i just think Salmon Run as is right now is really flawed. As you pointed out yourself and admitted, alot of these maps *can* work a little better if you have friends or a group....... but what about the people that don't have friends who play this game?? Those people have to play solo with randoms hoping for a good team, if you get unlucky and get teams that don't know how to use the map, its not fun and i don't think its fair to get punished for not playing with friends and leaving having an easy or hard game up to chance. I think Nintendo definitely needs to make better designed maps that can work with both friends AND solo with random teammates. Again, i hope im not sounding whiney but i really think this is serious problem that needs to be addressed in the next game (assuming there is a next game) so everyone can enjoy Salmon Run
it's pretty much all of Splatoon 3. Either, have friends/teammates you're familiar with or increase your skills to be able to win 1v4's or Solo Salmon running
Also, the one positive thing marooner's has is Low Tide, it is literally a completely different map that is adjacent to High and Mid tide, thus not having most of the problems that those have.
The location of Little Buddy in Inkopolis Square, please
Imo I think Jammin is the best, but I agree with the rest! Peak video as always Mossy💜

I mean I thought sock eye station had its own identidy with its “sock eye” shape tower and egg basket placement eye circle shape-

Now that we have them all, is gonna be way easy to determinate the best to the worse
I wish Ruins of Ark Polaris would return, that’s my favorite Salmon Run map from Splatoon 2.
Yeah! Where is it!
Same with outpost. those two were my favorite!
Your content's goated btw, I respect and really appreciate your opinions and insights in this video! :D
Thank you so much!!
Great ranking! I would rank the stages the same way. The thumbnail is cute too!
Thank you!!

Huh
I completely forgot we have 7 stages rather than 6. I think my brain just prefered acting like marooner's bay doesn't exist lol

Thanks! And yeah I thought of doing that but I felt that the "marooner's bay (derogatory)" did the job haha
@@mossyquartzz I just felt that "B tier" was too much of a compliment for grounds lol
I LOVE MAROOONERS BAYYY
Good good, now do big run stages and i better see barnacle in its own tier
I should do that tbh 🤔 perhaps when I get some footage of big big run!

Why are they done making salmon run stages? It's the only multiplayer mode I like

Great vid! Can you do the same for pvp stages?
Thanks! Not sure if I'll make one soon (lemuria is not confirmed as the last pvp map) but I'm interested in it!
Watch them release another salmon run stage during big run 🤣
And then they did. (Grand Splatlands Bowl)

To be honest, even salmon runs worst map is not even close to how bad some of the pvp maps are. But hey thats just my opinion.
Nah you're right, I'll play on grounds over hammerhead anyday
Marooner's Bay is the best stage of all time, it filters so many players resulting in these kind of tier list placements
