Have you tried street food it's a lot cheaper than most places you've eaten eg the chicken starter you had at mai Thai is only 10 bht and papaya salad is gorgeous just a tip for season 2 lol

£17 for a burger and beer . And yes top posh restaurants sometimes stick a service charge on in Thailand, not basic fast food joints like this . Another one to walk straight past , hunger pangs will do me , 360 baht for a double burger and beer . Thanks for putting the effort in . Some great content and you also put your clangers in as well , proves you don’t take life too seriously. Hopefully you are back soon

£17 for a bit of breaded chicken and a big beer ,I wouldn't pay on principle. Try the chicken shack on Soi Bonkoch.
