Finally someone who did a decent video showing it outside. It has made me change my mind about getting it though as it shows it has a very narrow beam at a distance. Shame.
@@YuichiTamaki I ended up buying a light bar light. Search for 6000 lumen bicycle light and you'll see lots of the same. Mine has 5 LEDs, the brightest and widest. It has dipped beam, high beam, combined, spot and flashing for daylight. Newboler sells a version too. Was about the same price as the Rockbros.

My unit broke when I dropped it from 1m height onto solid ground. I was able to fix it by taking it apart (there are 4 screws around the USB port, then the back part pops off and the whole assembly pushes out). I put a large washer in between the battery terminal and the battery holder and then the tab to the battery made good contact again. Use the largest size washer that fits so it doesn't turn off going over big bumps. The battery is not well supported in the holder from the factory. I also put some grease/thermal paste in between the metal case and the LED module before sliding the assembly back in. This enhances cooling ---> more brightness and longer lifespan.
Hello there, It looks like the mount in the XOSS is Garmin style so it should be compatible. The flashlight mount comes with two adapters. On the Aliexpress page it says it is compatible with Garmin, Bryton and Wahoo.
I have the same unit. After taking it apart, I conclude that the level of waterproofness should be very good as long as the button portion protects against water infiltration (which it should). The circuit board is entirely at the top, so even if water got inside, it should stay below the electronics. The screws on the back were sealed with glue and the USB charging cable cover makes a good seal. Yeah it is kind of narrow. I am in the search for a good flood light that doesn't break the bank.
@@YuichiTamaki i have newboler lig520 this is the same as rockbros r3 1000 only cheaper, its beam is much wider. I recomend.
