Yeah them lens arent cheap that's for sure lol. The only big lens I've used is the 200mm canon lens. Got some amazing shots with it. I just wish I had them bigger lens you guys use during the games. Idk if you all have to buy em yourselves or someone else provides it for you?
how do you get in to the pro game to take photos cuz I have miner leg exsprens shooting for the Dyckman gams in NYC so how can I move up from that to any sport like MLB, NHL, NBA, NFL or MLS
Do you check your bag or carry on? I'm super sketched about checking my gear. I have always carried my gear. That usually means a backpack with bodies, lens and lights, and a case for my housing when I shoot surf. I have thought about checking my housing case with a TSA lock, but its still a grip off dough if it disappears. Thanks
Charles, good question man. I'm right there with you about checking my gear. I ALWAYS carry my important gear with me no matter what. No I will check lights or stands and that kind of stuff but lens and camera body must be with me at all times. Would love to see some of you surf work!
@@LemarGriffinfilms thanks for he reply. I am just an amateur hack. I shoot mostly my kids and everyday joes when I get a chance to swim out. You can see my stuff on insta @watershotz or my website (which hasn't been updated in awhile) at www.watershotz.com I would love to one day get on the field and shoot a pro game, but since #spanos666 left, that'll probably never happen. Keep posting new work. I dig your stuff. Thanks
Yes sir. I've used it for a few games and am always happy with the end result. If you want to future-proof your setup and have the money, the a7RV is the latest tech and new features, but if it was me starting from ground zero on a budget, I'd get the a7iii or if you could go up to the a7iv. Speed wise all the cameras will give you 10fps. Are you doing photo or video? if you just doing photo I'd even recommend a used a9 mark i. It's old but 20fps is wild once you see what it can do. Hope that helps boss. I need to make an updated video on my sports kit.
Yes! If that’s what you can afford and would work good with your sports then I’d say yes. Those two lenses for what your shooting should get the job done! Appreciate you watching let me know how you like the 50-400 I haven’t tried that one out yet hopefully soon
Both. I run my own company and also work part time for the NFL. I don’t sell NFL pictures as mostly everything captured at a NFL belongs to the NFL. Thanks for watching boss
Great video. Interesting to see you're not packing 20kg kits I've seen some NFL photographers using. Feels more relatable to me!
Appreciate you. I had to work with what I had access to at the time.
I really enjoyed that!
I'm not a Sports shooter but can truly appreciate fitting the all the gear into the bag and the bag not bulging.
Thank you very much, haha; I try to keep it packed up well but not too crazy, ya know? Thanks for watching.

Have you ever used the Sony 200-600 5.6-6.3? And if you have, which would recommend for evening games on A73/A7RV?

Do you think going with a 35-150mm Tamron and the 50-400mm Tamron would be a good kit? Only two lenses. For football and soccer.

Do you work for yourself and sell the pictures or for the teqm
Both. I run my own company and also work part time for the NFL. I don’t sell NFL pictures as mostly everything captured at a NFL belongs to the NFL. Thanks for watching boss
