Dang, you lost me at cumin. So glad to have you releasing content again (and yes, I do realize that my comment is late lol). Please release content as it suits you and I will be tuned in. Blessings Yve.
This one is so great. I bought a bottle the extrait a few months ago after receiving a random sample of it. And I have just received a sample of the edp in the mail today! So this video is perfect timing indeed ❤
Loved your review! Care to tell us the difference between EDP and extrait if there’s any at all? Fell in love with the extrait but never tried the EDP which is cheaper as well so maybe some money to save if they are almost identical 🙈
What an intriguing description! Mohur is one of my favourites too and the house is really well executed and consistent. I've heard from some folks in the industry that they are worried about the house's health because of all the attention taken away by influencer noise and oversaturation of the market. So it's good you shone another spotlight on a worthy brand. I need to dig up my extrait again, it does smell calibrated slightly differently but I don't recall mine being any longer lasting. Mohur is one of the few 'niche' rose-out scents that has a convincing natural oud note...not the usual cypriol/ synth oud smell so common in others.
Never heard of this house but I’m curious now. The bottle is very pretty. One can never have too many rose fragrances lol. Great review! Thanks for sharing 😊
Wow I clearly don’t retain note listings very well. This was one of the first expensive bottles of perfume that I bought back in 2020 and maybe it’s just because I got it so early in my perfume collecting but I have never thought of this one as a rose oud fragrance. I like rose and I like oud but I have never liked rose oud combo’s. I’m gonna have to reassess my entire world outlook…on everything.
I have the sample set and I agree they are very sophisticated and complex. Perhaps a bit too sophisticated and subtle for my amateur nose but I do appreciate them! Have you tried the extrait version?
This is timely for me Yve. I’ve been on a rose/oud kick for the last 6 weeks or so. Which is bizarre since I live in AZ and it’s been boiling hot 🔥 🤷♀️ might have to get my nose on a decant. Thank you!
And now I'm craving a rose jam filled pastry. Thnx Yve. 😂 Too true about the brand being underrated. Is that your second bottle btw? Or are you judiciously rationing the juice for special occasions? Lord knows I've been guilty of hiding away my rare or precious juices in the past. Part of me doesn't want to, but another more vigilant part recognizes where the industry is heading. 📈📉 Always love seeing you. 💙
I'm struggling to see where you're going in this description of this perfume, the naming of this perfume or direction of this house has nothing to do with imperialism. Then you gloss over the fact that it was created by a French perfumer, which surely must be at odds with your skewed take on this. Seems to me it's a path you are struggling with yourself snd projecting it on to this beautiful subject. What a shame.

@@nathand.384 oooh yes I’ve been meaning to do that! I will get to it soon :)
@@TheTopNote Doesn’t have to be anything long or a video anything just wondered how different they are considering the price difference 🙏🏾
Hi Yve! I have smelled Mohur in a smell niche store last year. It was quite nice. Your review made me want to revisit it 😊

Have you tried the extrait of Mohur yet? From what people say it’s apparently even better than the EDP

Thanks for the review. I’ve seen this brand online but didn’t know anything at all about it. I’ll definitely check it out.
