  • If you've visited Seacliff State Beach since the recent storms in January of 2023, you may notice some large mounds of seaweed and debris that have piled up on the beach. In this video, you'll hear from California State Parks Interpretive Aide Paul on where these mounds came from and what they represent for our local ocean ecosystems at Seacliff State Beach. While the damage inflicted by large storms, surf, and tides in January of 2023 has had a significant impact on the facilities at Seacliff State Beach, we are proud to be able to open public access to this park again thanks to the hard work of our roads and trails crew, maintenance team, and so many others. You can join the recovery effort by visiting www.thatsmypark.org. We can't wait to see you soon at Seacliff State Beach!
