Sounds Awesome! I've heard that hearing a motor fire up for the first time is comparable with your newborns first cry.... I'm sure it was a car guy that said that...and his wife wasn't around.
Hi Dave , It's like firing it up and putting a little heat in the motor in the pit area at a dragstrip . Great going Dave , how many people wished they started Monday off like that !
It sounds good 👍 . Brother . It would do what you said get it so it all goes and stops and can steer it then work on getting the body sorted out doors all solid and window stuff working so you get glass in it then work on wiring just get the stuff done so you can move it around under it own power first 💪
So you lied if you hadn't jacked it up it wouldn't have ran into your garage it would have ended up crossing the street and into the neighbours garage 😂 sounds good with the exhaust work you did!
Sounds wonderful! Nice mellow yummy warm sound. Did I see rear wheels turning opposite directions? No posi traction? I did my own posi in a ten bolt, expensive project!!
Hey Dave you just couldn't wait to fire it up. I get it! FYI... I noticed your back wheels are bent or not on all the way or axles bent? You had the trans in reverse, I was visualizing the car falling down & heading across the street into the neighbors yard ..my bad ;) 😁😎
Dave, way to go! The car sounds really good. I decided to go the route of making sure my wiring was complete in the car before starting it for the first time, which has delayed me a bit. What's next for your car?
The engine would have started better if 1: you wasn't in gear. 2: you had give it some choke. And 3: You have the timing of the engine set to the correct time. But other than that, the engine tone sounds great through your exhaust. By the way, the rear drivers side wheel looks badly buckled.
one small step for man. one giant leap for dave
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS Dave 🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉, Now Get The Rest of It Done 😉😉😉😉LOL and God Bless All.
She sounds great, must be so good for you to hear the car come to life after all your hard work. Great Job Scott.
Congrats, car sounds awesome!
Thanks bud. Hopefully you'll get to hear it in person next summer.
With that puff out the exhaust on the first crank you could tell she was gonna go... congrats Dave !
She sounds beautiful 😁
Hearing her fire up is the perfect start to a Tuesday morning
I'm Retired, so every day is Sunday, to me, Another great video, Mr Happy ?
I'm glad you had it off the ground, watch your video, it was in reverse. The trans works.
Are you saying that because the drivers side wheel was turning counter-clockwise? because the passenger wheel was turning clock-wise lol.
Sounds Awesome! I've heard that hearing a motor fire up for the first time is comparable with your newborns first cry.... I'm sure it was a car guy that said that...and his wife wasn't around.
Sounds awesome Dave, good call on jacking the back end up.
That was fun! Always love the first starts. It’s car guy ear candy 🍭 LOL
That engine sounds sweet with that exhaust, that will spur you on 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Not too noisy but noisy enough.
Congratulations on getting its started. Hearing it run adds a lot of life back to a project
Hey Dave. Good feeling when it first makes heat isn't it. Good job. That exhaust sounds great. Thanks for sharing.
She sounds really good, love the exhaust note. Next time you start it, you should make sure it's not in gear. lol Later
But then I wouldn't have scared the crap out my wife lol.

She sounds killer! Yeah definitely shifter linkage, your in reverse, I bet your neighbors across the street wouldn't want in their driveway
Thanks, I'm pleased with the audio track too. Why do you think it was in reverse?
Well look who earned himself a wee dram
Nice rumble!

So you lied if you hadn't jacked it up it wouldn't have ran into your garage it would have ended up crossing the street and into the neighbours garage 😂 sounds good with the exhaust work you did!
hahaha, even worse, it would have hit my wife's Mini
Sounds wonderful! Nice mellow yummy warm sound. Did I see rear wheels turning opposite directions? No posi traction? I did my own posi in a ten bolt, expensive project!!

hehehe. Wheels are not on all the way, bore is too small for the hubs. Waiting on wheel adapters for the other wheels.

I think brakes then steering. Possibly steering first, depending what arrives tomorrow.
Its in gear, reverse to be exact! Looks like axle bent, or something?
Nah, it's got the wrong wheels on it. The wheel bore is too small, so it's not sitting flush against the hubs

Thanks Derril. I don't have the shifter cable hooked up, I thought it was in park. Wheels are not fitted properly, just rollers.
