Elegância, suavidade e discrição nos sopros de Scott e Marçal - um diálogo maravilhoso, com a belíssima base de Monne, Chamorro e Arnau!! Parabéns a todos! Excelente!!!!
Fantastic clip! Obviously Maestro Chamorro and Scott Hamilton need no introduction but I am also really impressed with the rhythm section here and particularly Marcal Perramon. His solo is of the highest order, his ability to improvise and put his own take on this old standard is excellent and is often only showed by artists much older than him! And what about that cadenza at the end? Absolutely brilliant!! Bravo guys!!
Things come along that are timeless and beautiful and this is one of them. There is more music in this recording than a hundred other albums and this is what jazz constantly gives us. A world in a grain of sand, as Blake famously said. ❤️
Iprovisation of the sax duo is so engaging and mesmerizing! The title mentions their names as with the other videos. Even when Joan Monne is on stage! - I suppose, like being the regular family person, taken for granted! Thanks for the video!
Bellíssima interpretació.!!! La sensació de l'impacte de les vibracions que transmeten els instruments en el cos és senzillament emocionant. Una experiència fantàstica. Gràcies i felicitats Artistes.!!!
Wow, Esto es mantequilla 🤗. No hay dudas sobre la habilidad de Scott, pero hay que elogiar especialmente a Marçal, que ahora es un profesional en todos los aspectos. Buen trabajo a todos.
Lovely jazz standard tune anno 1938 which Miles Davis included it in his repertoire and thus became a well known standard. Stan Getz, and Chet Baker played it regularly during their lifetimes, as did others. Lovely song folks. G’day & Cheers
I immediately recalled 12-yr-old Abril Sauri's wonderful, old-soul vocal rendition of this song from 2014, a sweet era for SAJB. (10 years ago?? How is that possible?)
At first i was wondering why you had that young guy in OUR "Old Folks" session. Then i heard him playing that busy, yet precise and fluid, and tonally REMARKABLE "solo" and i realized he's alot older than he looks =) Exceptionally chosen, directed and performed! How this video was only viewed by 500+ people says so much about the last generation, and especially the one before that, but how it was only thumbed up by a fifth of it's viewers says even more about our own generation. God help us, and bless your "ministry" Mr. Joan!
Give the views at least a month. It had only been on RUclips for 3 hours when we commented. (I've made the same mistake on SAJB vids and seen the views rise to impressive numbers:)
Very nicely done everyone. And the vocals if you've ever heard the words sung by Ronnie Milsap ... can bring a tear to your eyes. It's a beautiful and respectful song about aging. Hope you all like it. Stay well everyone. Here's the Link to the vocals in English. Hope you all like it. ruclips.net/video/xtD6Z89gOCo/видео.html

Silky, smoothy saxophones, very nice thanks ✨✨🎷🎷
I immediately recalled 12-yr-old Abril Sauri's wonderful, old-soul vocal rendition of this song, from 2014. (Can it really be 10 years ago??! )

Very nice ballad !
Magistral, gracias.
Красиво!!!
As usual, an outstanding performance. I am wondering if Scott would share the tenor sax sheet music with a few amateur saxophonists.
¡Interpretación sensacional!
Belisimo ❤
So tasteful! =D
Bellisimo!
