Medicare for all? Medicare is going broke. And it's not free. I paid into this my entire life. I now pay more for Healthcare than ever in my life. Over 500 a month. Plus about 500 in deductibles
They pull $100 out of my pension every month and I live abroad with no access to medical. But, that's okay, they'll give the care to Haitians, Palestinians, Venezuelans, Etc., from third world garbage pits.

I'm not going to get insurance because I don't go to the doctors at the hospital, when I am sick I drop to my knees and pray to the Lord.. and put it in his hands. Over the last several years, I have serious doubts about the medical care profession and the scientific world. Thank you NIH. Can I watch my son go several times into an ER only to have them observe him, not even run any tests to find out what's wrong with him and send him home. For 2 years now he has had problems his stomach throwing up and other issues. Which could be esophageal cancer but they don't run any tests so if it is cancer by the time they find it he'll be in the fight for his life, just as his father was when they found him at stage 4 cancer.. his father lasted four months and died with treatments.. because they sure are good about selling you that chemotherapy and radiation, add a high dollar amount. Not to mention prescriptions that are like $3,000 for one month.. the Blue Cross and Blue shield will not cover. My daughter paid for them on her health care spending program.. because with that you either have to use it or lose it. It's all about figuring out how to take people's money away.

Canada the average tax rate is 25% in the US. 15%.
40% don't pay taxes in both Canada and US.

Back in the good Ole days, when slavery was allowed, the plantation owners were responsible for health care and retirement. They couldn't just free the slave after they had no value and dump them on the tax payers.
What do we have now? Plantation owners cutting their slaves loose for society to take care of them. Pushing the health care and retirement of their workforce onto the public.

A woman was paying 5,000 a year on insurance, one hospital visit in 10 years for 50000. Where is the savings? You have the plan administrators, the billing personnel. The insurance defrauders. You now have your next door neighbor responsible for your Healthcare. Do you want them to pay your utility bills also? No one should go without heat and AC. Let's raid the neighbors pantry while we are at it.

You fix health care by making the employer/employee responsible. A health savings account where the money is yours. And if you don't use it, you get a refund. Like sick days. If you don't use them, you get 50% back.
By the way, what happened to ACA/Obamacare. Wasn't that supposed to fix the health care issue.
