Nice job on the video. My son and I are taking this on July 4th Chicago to Davis. We booked 2 roomettes, which was about $600 cheaper than a bedroom and gives us views on both sides of the train.
Thanks. We left our door/curtain open most of the time and could see out the aisle window too. Often I would get up and stand in the aisle, where I chatted with my neighbors.

We enjoyed our train time immensely. Our seven hour station time, and five hour bus ride not so much.
No wifi - unbelievable
worst train ride of my life!! just google sewerage and mold in roomettes. NEVER will take this train again.
