Really cool animation. Minato with Sage Mode alone was more than enough and more realistic against Itachi as he never needed to use Sage Mode against most enemies. Also the line where Itachi says his space time ninjutsu pales in comparison to Shisui was disrespectful. Lastly Naruto is the one that gives Jiraiya the name of pervy sage.
I agree with you about the comparison to Shisui, but that is NOT the truth, Shisui was fast, hence why it was called body flicker, he moved so fast that it LOOKED like he could teleport, however, it was just amazing speed. Lord forth could legit teleport as long as his mark was used. However, Sage Minato COULD be enough to beat Itachi, but he said it himself, that he was very novice with it. Not being able to withstand it for the period of that fight, he was probably the worst Sage user we see albeit still very powerful. Hence why he never uses it, even when reanimated.
With that being said, Minato would've bodied Itachi. This is prime Lord 4th. At this time Itachi was to young and def didn't have a perfect Susanoo, let alone the Yata Mirror and Toska Blade.

both of these illustrations of itachi and minato are both essentially made up. in canon itachi is never shown with a mastered susanoo until he joins the akatsuki, and minato never had kcm when he was alive.

Minato is literally the fastest shinobi to have ever lived, and his chakra is on par with a tailed beast, without Kurama. Not to mention, like Itachi, he was a once in a lifetime genius. Though I love Itachi, I don't think he'd be able to go toe to toe with Yondame.

I am going to refute the logic, but I do want to say that the animation was very well done and very impressive, you did a really good job in doing this, and the voice acting wasn't half bad either. I can't state enough, I thoroughly enjoyed it. That said, especially at this age, Itachi really doesn't stand that much of a chance against either Toad Sage Minato, though that one is arguable, but he doesn't scale even close to Kurama Chakra Cloak Minato. Itachi is very powerful, and he does have certain abilities that do cause problems for people that still scale higher than him, but I just don't think he could defeat Minato, especially not at the timeline of which this implies. That, and Shisui was supposedly very well known for how quick and capable he was with his Shushin prowess, But that very ability, honed by him or not, is absolutely nothing compared to the teleportation speed of Flying Thunder god technique, neither when compared to Tobirama's nor Minato's. And I certainly don't think Minato would ever remotely even need to dream of Baryon Mode in a fight against Itachi, though to be fair, it is possible to be caught off guard, but not in a fair fight like one imagines. Regardless, I do want to point out that this was a very well done animation and very entertaining, and at the end of the day, while I don't agree whatsoever with the power scaling despite both characters being OP to different extents, entertainment is the point of these more than anything.
but shisui mastered bodyflickering, which is teleporting and the flying thunder god technique is also teleporting so it’s kinda the same. Tell me if i am wrong tho, i am not comepletly sure
@@purpleflame7869, Bodyflicker isn't teleporting, it's short burst of extreme movement speed. When Kakashi or any ninja seemingly disappear in the animation, that's Bodyflicker, also known as Shushin. Shisui just perfected it to a new level, but Minato was the only person, Tobirama aside, that could use or master Flying Thunder god due to the sealing skill needed and the sheer reaction speed it takes. Bodyflicker is a normal technically most all Jonin can do, Shisui just does it best, allegedly. That said, while this is an assumption, given Minato's normal reaction and movement speed, we know he can also use Bodyflicker, and probably also does so well, just known for his greater abilities.

Great animation! I know this is mostly fan service and all, but Minato really sucks when it comes to Sage Mode, he wouldn't rely on it at all. And although Itachi is strong and all, during his time in the Anbu, he simply isn't in the same league as Minato. At best he would beat Danzo, but that's about it.

Even tho I disagree with Minato having to go into Baryon Mode for him to fight Itachi I believe you did a great job animating this. Many folks in these sections are arguing over the use of Minato using Baryon Mode and Sage Mode to fight him but they also have to understand this is a fan animation. It’s up to the creator’s discretion how they want to have things go. That said a fight using Sage Mode and the Susano’o would’ve been interesting to see cuz I would’ve preferred that over Kyuubi Chakra Mode (KCM) but either way it was a good thing to watch. Keep up the great work dude.

@@cantguardb3498, to be fair, as much as we all love Minato and Itachi, both of them being absolutely genius prodigies, I think Minato with the stats he has in this fight should scale quite a bit higher than Itachi, and Madara would hardly struggle against the two of them together, much less alone. 😅 Madara isn't the strongest character in the grand scheme of things anymore, but he's certainly was at the time by quite a large margin.

This was fire, but Minato would never have Baryon Mode. Baryon Mode is probably only for Sage of Six Paths users like Naruto and Hagaromo. If Minato was struck by genjutsu then he would have died instantly because Tsukuyomi cannot be escaped by a perfect jinchuriki. Also Minato wouldn’t be able to seal away Itachi’s Susanoo because that’s literally his chakra,… that would only make sense if Itachi was also sealed away. Or Itachi can summon another Susanoo. Although KCM Minato should also be able to use Sage Mode, I think that would’ve made more sense. Minato cannot FTG or mark Itachi’s Susanoo or Amaterasu, but he can FTG a crow. Overall I really enjoyed your animation, even if the battle isn’t 100% scaled correctly. It’s still very fun to watch.
Itachi never has used tsukiyomi on a perfect jinchuurinki so how're you claiming that as a fact? If Minato was to fight Itachi an use KCM2 Itachi has no choice but to summon susanoo in which I have a bijuudama being able to break his shield. KCM2 form is overkill against Itachi to be frankly honest. If you noticed he didn't write out Minato going into bijuu mode which was for a reason. Minato didn't need sage mode or definitely KCM form to win this match.

Genjutsu? It's been hinted in Raikage vs Sasuke fight that Raikage was keeping his technique to counter sharingan with his teleportation, that's why Raikage never got caught by genjutsu unless you restrain his movements the same way Madara did. Genjutsu is a chakra disturbance, and it still travel from point A to B, or eye to eye, so it can be dodged like Amaterasu if you can see it, and Minato is a sensory ninja to feel it from the build up of chakra in the eye, especially when in sage mode and he is faster than genjutsu. Minato should not be able to get hit by genjutsu, not even raikage caught up to him. Sasuke's sharingan and body can't even follow raikage, and you think Itachi can just follow someone even faster. If Genjutsu works on him, Obito would've already used it on him just like Obito did to kyubi to make things easier. Only reason you won't use it cuz it don't work. Fun fact, Obito has stronger genjutsu than Itachi due to some BS hashirama cell, he's the only person shown to completely control a jinjuriki. Sasuke already escaped tsukiyomi just by Will. Just saying, Madara and his Susanoo got separated by Gaara in his first appearance in War as well, no reason to not be able transport it. Jiraiya sealed amaterasu as well during Itachi encounter. In a correctly scaled fight minato would never fall for genjutsu that long. Lets list off why: 1. Very high sensor so its almost impossible to be put in a genjutsu without him noticing. 2. Sage mode is naturally good against illusions and to top it off it makes his sensory abilities higher. 3 Jinchuriki, so he shouldn't fall for them either. I think people forget that Itachi and Minato are technically on the same side. I don't think they would ever fight for that reason. Even if Minato didn't know the truth about Itachi, I don't think Itachi would confront him; similarly to how he ran off from Jairaiya and Kakashi in Naruto pt. 1 when he could've easily killed them both, but, then again, why would he have killed allies in disguise?

In a way, both Itachi and Minato have a similar framework when it comes to their abilities. They are both exceptionally strong, but it is their intellect that truly sets them apart and allows them to win battles, even against formidable opponents. Their ability to identify weaknesses in their adversaries, regardless of how strong they may be, makes them formidable. As a result, they would likely cancel each other out in a battle, with perhaps a slight advantage in favor of Minato due to certain plot factors. It is worth noting that Kishimoto, the creator of the series, appears to have a slight preference for Itachi, as he never suffered defeat in the story (excluding instances where he intentionally lost to Sasuke), whereas Minato's limitations in power were evident during his final battles against Jinjuriki Madara and Jinjuriki Obito, which would be same for itachi also, but never shown.
Itachi would actually be a better matchup, as he has Yasaka, Yata, and Totsuka. And it must have taken quite a lot to acquire those weapons at such an early age.

@@J0kerz_Editz sorry to say it, but if Itachi used Susano'o early into the fight, it would have had no effect to him, and he would have ended the battle in the blink of an eye. It was his excessive use of amaterasu, and using excessive amounts of energy to put out the flame(which you typically shouldn't be able to do, but that is Itachi for you), reversing his own control of Tsukiyomi on Sasuke so he could break out of it, and activating Susanoo on low chakra reserves _in combination_ with his sickness that negatively affected him, and he was still able to use it at will. For all we know, Itachi may not even have had to use Susanoo against Minato, as it would not be fair to dish something out like that, which Zetsu himself said is "Invincible". Itachi would naturally take note of this, and would not even think about using it in a battle against the Yellow Flash. Susanoo, Totsuka, Yata, Yasaka, etc are spirit moves. This means that they are unstoppable vs. ordinary means of combat. Itachi was already a more brilliant Shinobi than Minato from the get-go, and then he went rogue to become even that more powerful to safeguard and watch over Konoha from the shadows. If Minato had the relationship he had with Kurama that Naruto had and was able to tap into Sage Mode KCM, Itachi would naturally tap into his Susanoo, but this isn't the case here. KCM Naruto can not defeat Itachi. Use your collective reasoning here. If Naruto can't even touch Itachi without Sage of Six Paths, what makes you think Minato, whom Naruto surpassed before being gifted SOSP, can easily defeat Itachi. I'm sorry. Itachi is arguably the 2nd strongest Uchiha there ever was base level(Ten Tails Obito does not count as base level. If Itachi had the power Obito had, he would sweep him), apart from Hikaku. Really cool animation. Minato with Sage Mode alone was more than enough and more realistic against Itachi as he never needed to use Sage Mode against most enemies. Also the line where Itachi says his space time ninjutsu pales in comparison to Shisui was disrespectful.

I agree with you about the comparison to Shisui, but that is NOT the truth, Shisui was fast, hence why it was called body flicker, he moved so fast that it LOOKED like he could teleport, however, it was just amazing speed. Lord forth could legit teleport as long as his mark was used.
However, Sage Minato COULD be enough to beat Itachi, but he said it himself, that he was very novice with it. Not being able to withstand it for the period of that fight, he was probably the worst Sage user we see albeit still very powerful. Hence why he never uses it, even when reanimated.
With that being said, Minato would've bodied Itachi. This is prime Lord 4th. At this time Itachi was to young and def didn't have a perfect Susanoo, let alone the Yata Mirror and Toska Blade.

I am going to refute the logic, but I do want to say that the animation was very well done and very impressive, you did a really good job in doing this, and the voice acting wasn't half bad either. I can't state enough, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
That said, especially at this age, Itachi really doesn't stand that much of a chance against either Toad Sage Minato, though that one is arguable, but he doesn't scale even close to Kurama Chakra Cloak Minato. Itachi is very powerful, and he does have certain abilities that do cause problems for people that still scale higher than him, but I just don't think he could defeat Minato, especially not at the timeline of which this implies.
That, and Shisui was supposedly very well known for how quick and capable he was with his Shushin prowess, But that very ability, honed by him or not, is absolutely nothing compared to the teleportation speed of Flying Thunder god technique, neither when compared to Tobirama's nor Minato's.
And I certainly don't think Minato would ever remotely even need to dream of Baryon Mode in a fight against Itachi, though to be fair, it is possible to be caught off guard, but not in a fair fight like one imagines.
Regardless, I do want to point out that this was a very well done animation and very entertaining, and at the end of the day, while I don't agree whatsoever with the power scaling despite both characters being OP to different extents, entertainment is the point of these more than anything.

@@purpleflame7869, Bodyflicker isn't teleporting, it's short burst of extreme movement speed. When Kakashi or any ninja seemingly disappear in the animation, that's Bodyflicker, also known as Shushin. Shisui just perfected it to a new level, but Minato was the only person, Tobirama aside, that could use or master Flying Thunder god due to the sealing skill needed and the sheer reaction speed it takes. Bodyflicker is a normal technically most all Jonin can do, Shisui just does it best, allegedly. That said, while this is an assumption, given Minato's normal reaction and movement speed, we know he can also use Bodyflicker, and probably also does so well, just known for his greater abilities.

Great animation! I know this is mostly fan service and all, but Minato really sucks when it comes to Sage Mode, he wouldn't rely on it at all. And although Itachi is strong and all, during his time in the Anbu, he simply isn't in the same league as Minato. At best he would beat Danzo, but that's about it.

Even tho I disagree with Minato having to go into Baryon Mode for him to fight Itachi I believe you did a great job animating this. Many folks in these sections are arguing over the use of Minato using Baryon Mode and Sage Mode to fight him but they also have to understand this is a fan animation. It’s up to the creator’s discretion how they want to have things go. That said a fight using Sage Mode and the Susano’o would’ve been interesting to see cuz I would’ve preferred that over Kyuubi Chakra Mode (KCM) but either way it was a good thing to watch. This was fire, but Minato would never have Baryon Mode. Baryon Mode is probably only for Sage of Six Paths users like Naruto and Hagaromo. If Minato was struck by genjutsu then he would have died instantly because Tsukuyomi cannot be escaped by a perfect jinchuriki. Also Minato wouldn’t be able to seal away Itachi’s Susanoo because that’s literally his chakra,… that would only make sense if Itachi was also sealed away. Or Itachi can summon another Susanoo. Although KCM Minato should also be able to use Sage Mode, I think that would’ve made more sense. Minato cannot FTG or mark Itachi’s Susanoo or Amaterasu, but he can FTG a crow. Overall I really enjoyed your animation, even if the battle isn’t 100% scaled correctly. It’s still very fun to watch.

If Minato was to fight Itachi an use KCM2 Itachi has no choice but to summon susanoo in which I have a bijuudama being able to break his shield. KCM2 form is overkill against Itachi to be frankly honest. If you noticed he didn't write out Minato going into bijuu mode which was for a reason. Minato didn't need sage mode or definitely KCM form to win this match.

Genjutsu? It's been hinted in Raikage vs Sasuke fight that Raikage was keeping his technique to counter sharingan with his teleportation, that's why Raikage never got caught by genjutsu unless you restrain his movements the same way Madara did.
Genjutsu is a chakra disturbance, and it still travel from point A to B, or eye to eye, so it can be dodged like Amaterasu if you can see it, and Minato is a sensory ninja to feel it from the build up of chakra in the eye, especially when in sage mode and he is faster than genjutsu.
Minato should not be able to get hit by genjutsu, not even raikage caught up to him.
Sasuke's sharingan and body can't even follow raikage, and you think Itachi can just follow someone even faster.
If Genjutsu works on him, Obito would've already used it on him just like Obito did to kyubi to make things easier.
Only reason you won't use it cuz it don't work.

Itachi and Minato are both the type to visualize before going into battle. I’d see neither of them fighting each other because it seems like it’d end up in a stalemate. Or with one loser and the other missing an arm or a leg but alive.
They both have 10/10 hax, strength, intelligence, dok, etc the only advantage Minato has is speed and experience. Especially against anything an ems offers

@@mariogrant9625 You are cherry picking things. Minato is damn clever. He was called an genius among geniuses or something along those lines. In a correctly scaled fight minato would never fall for genjutsu that long. Lets list off why: 1. Very high sensor so its almost impossible to be put in a genjutsu without him noticing. 2. Sage mode is naturally good against illusions and to top it off it makes his sensory abilities higher. 3 Jinchuriki, so he shouldn't fall for them either. You can't first complain about minato having nine tails at this point (fanfiction) and then try to make a point of itachi keeping him in genjutsu in that very same fanfiction fight.
If you want to prove itachi is stronger than minato you have to get your evidence from canon.

I think people forget that Itachi and Minato are technically on the same side. I don't think they would ever fight for that reason. Even if Minato didn't know the truth about Itachi, I don't think Itachi would confront him; similarly to how he ran off from Jairaiya and Kakashi in Naruto pt. 1 when he could've easily killed them both, but, then again, why would he have killed allies in disguise?

As a result, they would likely cancel each other out in a battle, with perhaps a slight advantage in favor of Minato due to certain plot factors.
It is worth noting that Kishimoto, the creator of the series, appears to have a slight preference for Itachi, as he never suffered defeat in the story (excluding instances where he intentionally lost to Sasuke), whereas Minato's limitations in power were evident during his final battles against Jinjuriki Madara and Jinjuriki Obito, which would be same for itachi also, but never shown.
Itachi would actually be a better matchup, as he has Yasaka, Yata, and Totsuka. And it must have taken quite a lot to acquire those weapons at such an early age.

@@J0kerz_Editz sorry to say it, but if Itachi used Susano'o early into the fight, it would have had no effect to him, and he would have ended the battle in the blink of an eye. It was his excessive use of amaterasu, and using excessive amounts of energy to put out the flame(which you typically shouldn't be able to do, but that is Itachi for you), reversing his own control of Tsukiyomi on Sasuke so he could break out of it, and activating Susanoo on low chakra reserves _in combination_ with his sickness that negatively affected him, and he was still able to use it at will.
For all we know, Itachi may not even have had to use Susanoo against Minato, as it would not be fair to dish something out like that, which Zetsu himself said is "Invincible". Itachi would naturally take note of this, and would not even think about using it in a battle against the Yellow Flash.
Susanoo, Totsuka, Yata, Yasaka, etc are spirit moves. This means that they are unstoppable vs. ordinary means of combat. Itachi was already a more brilliant Shinobi than Minato from the get-go, and then he went rogue to become even that more powerful to safeguard and watch over Konoha from the shadows.
If Minato had the relationship he had with Kurama that Naruto had and was able to tap into Sage Mode KCM, Itachi would naturally tap into his Susanoo, but this isn't the case here.

If Naruto can't even touch Itachi without Sage of Six Paths, what makes you think Minato, whom Naruto surpassed before being gifted SOSP, can easily defeat Itachi. I'm sorry. Itachi is arguably the 2nd strongest Uchiha there ever was base level(Ten Tails Obito does not count as base level. If Itachi had the power Obito had, he would sweep him), apart from Hikaku. Minato is one of the greatest, but there is no way he can take on Itachi's visual prowess and come away with a victory. Itachi has the advantage in every category.
