It pulls at out heart strings is quite an explanatory quote. Music more than anything can take us back to situations & evoke the powerful feelings we had back then. These songs are love songs & love is something we should all be able to relate to. Like something can be so beautiful it can make us cry. There seems to be a very thin line between happy & sad, so the title of this video is spot on.
I actually feel sorry for the interviewer, I really don't think he meant anything bad. He seems like he is actually a fan and that he got quite excited. The "are you finished" comment he made directly after he thought he might have interviewing him so he was just confirming that was not the case. And then there is the language barrier too. He is really awkward when talking to Greg, but when he speaks in his own language he seems confident and perfectly "normal". Give the guy a break XD
If he was more fluent/familiar with English vocabularies, words of choice like how he talks in his native tongue could be better. He's accidently chooses poor structured sentences or and words
The interviewer was unsure if he had interrupted him and was just asking that to make sure he did not. He is not a native neglish speaker and the culture is also different. Many Europeans also have a more direct and straigth forward communication style, and it is not considered rude in those countries.
This interviewer comes across as a rookie. He has his own subjective opinion, yet appears to assume that everybody thinks the same way as he thinks. Good thing Greg had patience and tolerance that day. I probably would have ripped this guy a new one. Those first several questions were just lame fluff.
How rude is this interviewer? My god. Completely no respect for the artist and making so many assumptions? The interviewer could at least be objective with his phrasing of questions? Horrible!
His real voice is entirely different from his voice in all the songs
RIGHT HOW DOES HE DO JT
Righttt
@@jasmin9778 he sings after sex and a few ciggarettes.
Just like Snoww
i always thought its an older lady who sings for them
There's a beauty in "sadness"..a chill melancholy. happy tears...idk why this is difficult for some to understand. I love this personality.

I don't find his music sad at all. They're beautiful love songs. Did the interviewer even listen to his music?
Yeah me too. I was actually kind of surprised that people think it sad. I imagine slow dancing to this music.
@@SF-fb6lv the lyrics!! 😭😭
The music is sad. Very sad. They make songs about heartbreak and such. It may be slow and nice, but it's somber.

yeah man, just my thoughts..................
Hes so intelligent and beautiful.
"Are you finished?" This interviewer sucks! and I don't even want to mention anything else. Greg handled it with class.
i think that may be because the interviewer is not english, he probably didn't mean to sound rude.
He is quite odd, with his upstate new York comment also I was like wtf is going on with this interviewer.

The “are you finished” comment was not meant to be rude. He’s Polish (I think) so English isn’t his first language
Respect you Greg….you speak your heart✌️👍🙏❤️
09:00 : What is " Cigarettes After Sex " music for ?

Love CAS…..music is melancholy but touches soul. I totally get it….🙏🌹🌹🌹❤️🌈
'Are you finished'? ... how rude! . This interviewer definitely has no idea who he is sitting next to.
Cut the guy some slack, English is not his first language, he's clearly a bit shaken by the moment
