I agree w/ you in some points, but let me say that I could only blame Philippines’ sound equipments and distrust from their managements 😅. If only the Ph invest on better sound equipments, then maybe I could hear more of the artists voices than the backtracks on TV, but GMA channel has been doing good w/ that nowadays 😅. Also, I just wanna say that I love SB19's lyricism. Pablo is a genius, but as Pablo also said in their interview on Billboard PH, he really likes lighthearted songs such as bubblegum Pop coz it can make people happy. There's another rising girl group G22 thats touted as the female version of SB19 because of their strong vocals, beautiful harmonies and kick ass choreo.
They're amazingly different from the rest of Pop groups I'be ever heard before. Rock music fan here but I love other genres too, but this group SB19 just blew me away, no hype and rarely bubblegum pop for these boys, and the only diverse and live vocal monsters that I know in the country. For girl group great vocals and performance, I suggest you try G22, our nation's BEST girl group right now, although SB19's management company is cooking their own girl group too. More SB19 content please, the only ones I watch here on yt. Ken (a.k.a. FELIP) the deep voiced one is my forever bias.

They also spearheaded breaking out of the ph scene and transition towards international level of quality in music and content. There's money in Ppop because SB19 started the craze. Don't get me wrong, BINI ALAMAT G22 and so many other Ppop groups deserves their own respects, but to say SB19 did not pave the way is discrediting THEM. They were the inspiration and basis and standard on what and how a Ppop group should be. For live stages, i suggest AAA 2023, Half a Decade Fan Meet, 2021 and 2023 Round Festival. Or any fan cam u can find of their concerts or whatever music fest they participated in. Rock music fan here but I love other genres too, but this group SB19 just blew me away, no hype and rarely bubblegum pop for these boys, and the only diverse and live vocal monsters that I know in the country. For girl group great vocals and performance, I suggest you try G22, our nation's BEST girl group right now, although SB19's management company is cooking their own girl group too. SB19 is INDEED the kings of ppop. But saying that there is no PPOP without them is just... That's just so shitty to claim. One thing with this fandom is they tend to say "PPOP RISE" at all times but when another ppop group outrises SB19 they exclude that group.
SB19 is great, they opened the doors but did not pave the way. Let's accept it, stop being so toxic and just support OPM artist. You don't need to bring one down just so another can go up.

SB19 walked so other groups could run, the sacrifices they made to shield other groups. They were the biggest subjects of ridicule, but they persisted and now that they gained power and fame, the prejudice against Ppop groups were lessened by soooo much. They also spearheaded breaking out of the ph scene and transition towards international level of quality in music and content. There's money in Ppop because SB19 started the craze. Don't get me wrong, BINI ALAMAT G22 and so many other Ppop groups deserves their own respects, but to say SB19 did not pave the way is discrediting THEM. They were the inspiration and basis and standard on what and how a Ppop group should be. If you don't wanna take my word for it, just watch how those groups, yes Bini included, have to say about this issue. Their joint issue for bbph says it all.
