Too bad this video isn't very good. It's missing too many great moments, picks up some only moderately good ones, and doesn't give enough time for some of them.

My favourite moment was when patsy was trying to give up smoking. She was covered in patches and eddie commented that she was probably recharging them! 😁

Almost 30 years and it's still fresh and totally true!!! Life hasn't changed for these kind of people. Joanna Lumley is possibly the most underrated British actress we have and she's a natural comedian
Comedy acting is consistently underrated. It's rare that anyone gets an Oscar for a comic role, which is odd, as making people laugh is the most difficult thing to do.

Back in the 80's, my best friend Susan (5'10" blonde) and me (5'7" redhead) were huge clubgoers and basically were Dallas's Patsy and Edina. I showed her the first season of the show and she screamed " They stole our life! " 😈.

When I was 8 years old, my mother and I used to watch it together and drink grape juice in wine glasses. She was more like them than I realized at the time. I gotta say though, I know she didn’t mean to set the tone for my adult life, but I am soooo grateful that she set it to this.

They really don't make or write programs like this anymore, and it's a shame. We had some of the greatest programs at one time we were very lucky. We had only fools and horses, one foot in the grave, dads army, Absolutely fabulous etc. All these tiktokers and RUclipsrs and people who say their influencers have nothing on these programs and the Absolutely amazing actors from it, that was talent. I really really miss these days and the older I've got the more I've come to appreciate them aswell.

It's a joke about models not eating, aka Pats never eating (also, the stereotype that models throw everything up was part of the joke) and Pats used to throw everything up before the stomach bypass joke in the show..
But like your previous reply was, you're overthinking the comedy. It isn't to be taken literally, it's purely for the satirical humour.
Of course in real life she'd be dead. It's a tv show though, not a documentary..

Nothing like the classics
Yeah I saw the trailer, TBH I was skeptical at first (never did get over the terrible SATC movies) but it's getting some positive reviews. I'll def check it out at some point.
The show SATC is nowhere near as funny as Ab Fab so why compare the movies? Also, SATC comes off as so stuffy and dated now whereas Ab Fab still holds up.
