Why is my back waist bigger please help my client waist is 30 Front after joining crotch and dart and pockets is 17 that’s half waist plus allowance perfecr. Back after dart s 21 plus allowance instead of 17😢 did i do something wrong

How did the waist come to 42" from 36"
My round waist it 38 not 36
The 4 inches extra is for the zipper allowance ( 2 inches on both sides). I hope you understand 😊
