Trying Traditional Czech Alcohol With The Local Villagers

- In this video I visit a village called Malá Lhota in Moravia in the Zlínský kraj region which has a population of 89 inhabitants. I was touring the village and making my way to get a meal, during the time I was walking to the pub I came across some friendly welcoming locals. My first conversation was with a elderly grandma which I spoke to while she was doing her gardening which she explained to me that there was no coffee shops around in the area. As I walked further into the village I saw a group of people standing outside in there garden where I was then called down and invited to have a look in their garden which I then saw that they had had horses and chickens. They also offered me a Slovak beer which was a Zlatý Bažant and I gave them a shot of Slivovice. Afterwards I then came across another local working on his garden where I then stopped and asked if the village pub was open but I was told it was closed but if it would be open customers would have to sit outside. One of the locals of the village then invited me in his garden to sit and have a Kozel which is brewed in the Czech Republic. Afterwards I finally went to take a look at the village pub.

Já se docela divím, že hlavně na vesnici jsou ti lidé tak přátelští a milí. Čekala bych, že spíš tam vyvolá černoch pozdvižení a ono je to naopak... stydím se za to, že jsem z velkého města, tady je to rasista na každém kroku.
Přesně tak. Není to o rase, ale o tom, jaký člověk je.

Hlavně se chová slušně všude zdraví děkuje a hlavně umí aspoň trochu jazyk. Což ocení každý a hlavně to jinak vypadá. Funguje to tak v každé zemi.

Velká Lhota je mezi Bystřickou a Valmezem. Nádherný výhled na údolí Bečvy , masiv Radhoště a polovinu Valašska. Předěl ,mezi Vsetínskou a Rožnovskou Bečvou. Vesnice na hřebenu. To chce navštívit a vidět ,na vlastní bulvy. Vždy silný zážitek.

Hi Andre. I am a beginner in learning the Czech language and your videos are perfect for me. The phrases and responses are simple enough for me to understand, providing a solid foundation to build upon. Well, being a native Russian speaker, makes it a little easier for me to understand the Czech words but there is still a lot for me learn.

Protože eurodikce je tvořená partou ignorantských idiotů. Máme tu největší poměr vietnamců a našinců z celé evropy. Nikdy jsem neslyšel za 30 let jediného čecha říct špatné slovo o vietnamci, protože jsou to pylní a pracovití lidé, kteří jsou součástí komunity a přispívají jí. Romové jsou bohužel z velké většiny případů sociální pijavice a lidi to sere. To se bohužel ale nikomu, kdo není lokální, nedá vysvětlit.
Pokud se budou chovat jako André, ať si klidně přijede k nám na Moravu Pákistánec a rád se s ním budu bavit :).

@@stockstock6805 Nay, we are kinda American, we just speak kinda Russian. 🙂 Fact: Czech and Russian language are about as close as is English and German language. And you can definitly visit the Czech Republic, no war here. (8th safest country in the world as of 2023.)

@@stockstock6805 they're both slavic langauges, but pretty far away from each other, Russian also uses the azbuka alphabet (йзвжсбмьмткжкх - those kinds of symbols), whereas we use the latin alphabet, czech langauge is also much harder to master than russian. A Czech and a Slovakian will understand 99% of whatever they say, a Czech and a Pole will get about 60%, a Czech and any other slav nationality will get 15-30% or so.

Beautiful country isn't it? Czech republic and slovakia are 2 amazing countries that used to be one and my family who is from there and some that still live like to consider it one country because they live directly on the border haha they are great and I love the country and it's people not just because my family either lol it's just that they are kind and very giving to foreigners enjoy your stay in the beautiful country of czechoslovakia!!! Haha also wherever else you go I'm sure you will LOVE!!!

btw that music at bus stop, its usually played before some important village announcement, like when will be something open/close, when some business come to town etc, its not like that it play all time on, and these amplions are used in case of emergency, usually fire warning

The rooftop of the Bata Tower offers a spectacular view of the entire city showing how it is situated in a valley. Also noteworthy in Bata Tower is the lobby. Very avant-garde. Also, note the executive office that rides up and down all sixteen levels in a huge lift!! The continuously running pasternator in the building is worth experiencing, but of course, be careful of you timing to step inside it! A museum all about the history of shoes is breathtaking. I am not sure if the display of what I am about to describe, at the time of my visit there, they also had/have a special exhibition showing an African continent-wide excursion of a 1940s Tatra 87 streamlined automobile. The Tatra 87 apparently was very reliable during that 1950s trip around Africa. A beautiful professionally displayed Tatra 87 was in the museum at the time of my visit.
