Tibetian Buddhism is a separate religion and way of life for Tibetian. Under Chinese SAR Dalai Lama ji has to declare new position that it is not possible to continue status quo with experience so far.
Historically Bharat loves Tibet and Tibetan Community both inside Tibet, inside Bharat and elsewhere. Same is true vice versa. Our relations are millennium old and we share same Sanatan values of Theory of Karma कर्म सिद्धांत, Reincarnation m, योग, ध्यान etc. Any solution to Bharat-China issue cannot be without Tibet, as it is actually Bharat- Tibet- China issue. At the same time Tibet and Tibetan should be careful NOT to become pawns of likes of US or Europe who don’t have any stakes except using the issue when it suits their interests and dump Bharat-Tibet when it doesn’t Geo-politics wise.

Tibetans can shift to independence because track record is not conducive to look for autonomy. The real solution is independence.
The Tibetan MP in exile is enumerating facts based on historical facts. He is very lucid in his narration. I think China should be pressured to give up their claims based on their military might. In course of time, in case of a WWIII, it’s very likely they will be forced to do so if history is any guide.

Great podcast Adi. Very informative too! Mr Dorjee has explained the history of Tibet and their struggle for freedom very effectively. Not only India but the whole world should support Tibet in this struggle.
Ask the tibetans whether they want to be with China or India ,i am sure that they would prefer to be with China rather that to be with India or be Independent,i am referring to those who are in China not those Tibetans who are in India.
Young tibetans nowaday are well educated , richer ,proud to be with China and no longer crawl on the ground or spend the whole day praying as taught by that religion imported from India,a religion that indians themselves no longer follow.
Tibetans in China don't want to have anything to do with their former masters who were treating them as slaves and who are now living as refugee in their own country ,now occupied by India and renamed as an Indian province.
Indians can spend their time debating and day dreaming but nothing would change as is always the case with India.
Tibet is culturally a part of Sanatana Dharma so Bharat should offer Tibet to integrate into Hindu Rastra. Not just Tibet, same offer should be extended to Nepal and Bhutan. Our historic-cultural identity is too obvious to miss, look at Ladakh and our Himalayan belt. They are us and we are them, why else do we find joy in the monasteries in our hills! Leaving Tibet unguarded as buffer state is not a viable option because any assault on Tibet will pain Bharat too.
Very true. Ancient Bharat was mostly always made up of Republics or Janapadas all sharing the same cultural heritage. There was no difference between the people.
Mahajanapada is what Akhand Bharat would be, with regional autonomy for each Janapada within the larger group. That would include Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, maybe the future Sindhudesh and any other like minded neighbors!
EU is a good working example if we need one.
