I don't trade my 401k but one of the only things I did was switch my vanguard target retirement 2060 fund VTTSX to Vanguard 500 Index Fund VFIAX. I thought it was crazy that despite supposing to be safer by holding bonds the retirement 2060 fund crashes harder and recovers slower than the VFIAX. Be sure to check expense ratios VFIAX is 0.040% compared to SPY 0.0945%.
hahaha good one, these guys are overdiversifying, I would not put 100% on technology but I think 50% is find, but what this guy said in the video for people with an agressive profile is dumb
I can see why people pick QQQ/QQQM/VGT/MGK, especially if they're younger and can afford the added riskiness, but I personally prefer VOO for its cheapness, stability and reliability.
@@user-nj6rk5xs1m It's a mutual fund vs ETF decision. Depends. If you don't have $3k to start then VOO, which trades like a stock, and has a tiny bit lower fee. But if have $3k to start, the VFIAX minimum, easier to auto invest and ignores trading hours fluctuations. It just resets to end of day price whether you buy, sell, or not.
QQQM and VFV are my two highest holdings and things are smooth sailing! Highly recommended QQQM, I can see the potential risk factor but I think it’s the future as technology keeps growing and expanding
@@Nicholasvlogz Hey Nick, great question. I wouldn't wait. I wouldn't try to time the market either. It's all a guessing game. "Experts" don't know. Sure it'll happen one day. When? No one knows. Could run up another 50% before then. DM me if you want to chat more.
@@TheJustinBarker question. What do you think about s&p 500 to schd? I love schwabs dividends but I'm not really willing to take risks even though I'm young because things are getting worse now and later and just cause I have a later doesn't mean I want to use it fixing what I did now

Nice move! Yeah I'm convinced after this bond crash the S&P 500 is the safest best investment for just about any scenario for optimum risk/reward.
Daily or annually?
i would say nasdaq as it's the only stock index that pays tho small but still pays dividends
Im %100 in xlk
Not familiar with it, but thanks for sharing, I'll take a look.
I just bought into it

What are your thoughts on FTSE al world?
I'm not familiar with it. I just stick to the 2 in the video.

Yes VOO is more stable. QQQM is for that percentage of a portfolio one is willing to risk a little more for potentially higher returns. Maybe 5-10%.
@@TheJustinBarkerhow do I know if I should do VFIAX OR VOO ?

Voo or Spy? Which do you prefer?
I invest in VOO
Do you think we’re close to some crazy “30% market pull back” some pros are saying? Should I wait to invest ?!

VOO is better than SPY but QQQM is better than VOO

Is it bad to invest in both? Im a beginner and I'm 21 years old.
No not really. S&P 500 is the main one.
QQQ

Not something I invest in
It is safer than S&P, but has lower returns. Not much better than C D, at your local bank.
