What's really sad is that, Wei Ying's name has finally been cleared. He is free to travel and has just been reunited with his adopted Son A-Yuan. A-Yuan and Wen Ning leave him to build a memorial for their fallen clan (I don't begrudge them this), then Lan Zhan leaves him alone as well to go back to Cloud Recesses. He went through he'll and back, died, and had to put himself in danger yet again to solve a mystery and clear his own name all without asking for anything in return only to be left alone for a while. It is good that he finally meets Lan Zhan again after those months of separation but it makes me tear up every time. Poor Wei Wuxian xxx

although the live version tries as much as they would to go around the we-are-just-true-friend-with-each-other, atleast the artists portraying WY & LZ shows different meaning through their eyes..that exchange of looks 5:00 onwards says everything about the story as a whole..im glad the directors and staffs, allow those subtleties through the artists....
I watch this when I'm happy and watch when I'm sad so I cried even more. This scene is full of mix emotions that I can't even hold.
