Love the video. I built GK for the upcoming BBG $500 Tengu tournament, used your old Atlanta list for some inspo. Would love to see an updated GK video with a modern Tengu take on it 👀
I put this in my most recent video. But a general rule of thumb vs agents is to not veiler/warning the earth/venus because the boss monsters are all hard draws and the only actual way they can win. Unless your hand is absolutely unplayable it typically better to just let them do their thing.
@@imnerdpodcast i think for me, it's partially because of seeing cards in ur deck list that i always had as a kid, but never saw the potential use for since i didnt play in these classic formats (something like leeching the light) , just another reason to love ygo.
Be very wary of Scraps, one of the better rogue decks of the format. Also, TG Stun, dragunity and the obvious AGENTS! Deck is crazy this format. Imperial iron wall so far is my favorite side deck card of the format stops agents from dropping Hyperion, chaos spec, Bls. Kills heroes miracle fusion along with d prison and bottomless. Dragunity can’t drop Redmd or Dark simorgh. D.d. Crow goes bye-bye. BEST FLOODGATE EVER!!!!
I actually used to love scraps back in the day, but I never found time for them in 2011 because tengu made me fall in love almost instantly. In 2024 though...I can try as many decks as I want 😁
I play and have Tengu/Goats, only starting dipping my toes into Edison (thanks to your channel) but really want to find 2 teammates for YCS, everyone I am close to wants to play main event 🙃
Only the decks with 3000 inherent summon(so lightsworns JD) And decks with counter traps(infernity barrier/six samurai’s musakani magatama/gladiator beast war chariot) Can comfortably face herald and win Any other deck struggles hard
Maxx c is pretty dead vs hyperion and kristya’s inherent summon and u only get a 1 for 1 trade upstart goblin into dawn of the herald/advanced ritual art. Effect veiler is very good at stopping the stratos guys(manju/sonic bird)

Also if you do warning the venus..I suggest only after 1 shine ball since they could just play another venus and get all 3
