Years ago, I sold the Mostly Animals Stamp-O-Graph in my rubber stamp store and that's where I learned to do this technique: if you use an outline image that you want to color, all you do is do the first stamping in a gray ink, then do your coloring and then reink the stamp in black and stamp over the image again. You will be so surprised at how the image pops and looks wonderful. The key is that the paper goes tight into the corner so that it can be removed for coloring and placed back in exactly the same place. Try it with your little mouse stamp.
I just got mine in the mail this week, loooooove it!! I have to say (Head hung low) I had a A4 magnetic sheet that has adhesive on the back so ya know I cut it down to size and stuck it on the base. Easy fix, so now I can place my card etc and I use magnets to hold it in place. The hinges still allow me to use both Rubber and clear stamps and the grid on the lid still works awesome
I am seeing this a few months later...and just want to say the Precision Press is awesome for scrapbooking. I can place my paper upside down , as well as the stamp and it prints a beautiful image that I color in with my colored pencils....every inch of my 12x12 paper can be stamped. This was definitely the best purchase for me since I am not really into card making, but have a bunch of scrapbooks to do. HA If I live long enough!! Thanks!
I saw another comparison video where the youtuber demo all types of stamps (clear, foam and rubber) and all worked great with WRMK press, because the type of hinges used in the making of the tool.
I found I couldn't get polymer stamps to work on this until I cut down a foam placemat from the Dollar Tree. It raises the paper up just enough to get a good stamp.
Thank you for this informative review. I do have some questions though. Is the grid on the bottom flat (smooth) or does it have ridges (looks like it has ridges from what I can see)? Does it come with a foam pad to put under what you are stamping (foam pads are recommended for clearer stamping)? I do like the open edges for stamping the inside of cards....but I have a regular MISTI not a mini so I don't have as many issues with that. I really appreciate this review....well done :) Hugs...Janie
Thank you! It has ridges and no foam, it's also not as deep as a Misti. I use the foam in my Misti, but honestly, my imaged stamped perfectly fine with the Precision Press. I really like that I can use any size paper; this will be nice for scrapbookers. I feel the Misti is higher quality, but the Press is a good cheaper alternative. :)
i cant seem to stamp correctly with this stamper it is blotchy with stamps any help be great thanks yall also i wonder if putting couple coats of magnetic paint on the plateform would be like using the misti has anyone also tried this cause im planning to try it myself!!!

Thicker stamps work well with Precision Press because of the design of the cover hinge. It adjusts to application thickness.

Katie Marsh Great idea; thanks for sharing! tfw! 😃
Katie Marsh do you feel the magnetic sheet is necessary? Does the paper move (shift)?
Thank you,
Laura
I like the magnetic sheet, with a couple of small magnets yes it holds it well and there is plenty of room for it
It helps keep the paper down when the stamp sticks to the paper
Where do you get the magnetic sheet, what brand name? How thick?
You did a wonderful comparison! Thank you so much for the Craftin Desert Divas shout out!!
Mindy Beverly Thank you! Love CDD stamps! 😃

Love the we are memory keepers Percision if you have problems with the paper movie, just get an old Cricut Mat cut to size and it worked perfect
Great tip! TFW! :)
the hinges move for easy use with red rubber
Dee Johnston Thanks for the info! 😀
I LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!
CURIOUS, what do you use now, 2024?
My understanding is that the hinge is flexible so the thicker stamps work as well as the photopolymer stamps
E. Keesey Good to know; thanks for sharing! 😊

Awesome! It works great with my clear ones! TFW! :)
