Totally agree with you, the pink is much better than the red! I am an older woman with combination skin and really enjoy this foundation especially at this price. Very glad to see they have added more shades as I also have a cool undertone.

Yes! I was really truly thinking I was not gonna like this one but I really do!

Love your videos! Please include your nails enamel brand and color, they are so beautiful as well as all the products you show in your videos! I learned so much from your videos, now i know what a mauve color blush and lipstick are! Thank you for your great very thorough videos!!!❤

Awe thank you! I'm always so glad to hear that I'm actually being helpful! I'm doing a huge Fall Haul video next weekend and I will have all the nail polishes I've been wearing lately in there including this one (Mooncat 'Flight of the Monarchs'). 😊

I love watching your videos you give Jenny what reviews and I didn't even know you were in here late forties I honestly thought you were in your early or mid 30s?!!! I hope my age is well as you do . And about the foundation is it a soft matte ?

Thank you so much! 🥰 I think you could call it a soft matte yes. It reminds me of a more refined, lighter version of the new Elf Soft Glam Satin foundation that a lot of people like.

Thank you! And I just tried it on again and it is definitely on the peachy/pink side but not a total cool pink undertone...also not fully orangey either though, definitely a pink peach

I know the cushion sponge with the product is specifically used to not absorb a lot of the product and you have to work it over and around your skin.... work it. There isn't much product in this packaging, which is why the included sponge is special. Many people discuss the learning curve with it. From how I see you applying it, your touch and placement is like you are using a powder compact? A few other popular makeup artists have shown how to use this brand. Glam Girl Gabi, Nikki La Rose, Wayne Goss (one of my forever favs), Emily Eddington... just to name a few. I follow a few others too. I dont like some of the even bigger ones. I follow many that are smaller too. I think Wayne and Gabi are my overall favorites. Lipstick Lesbians will give you the science behind this product and why it needs to be done in a certain way and so forth. Very science informative. I love watching your stuff about cool tone options. So few help us!

I've seen those too but also keep in mind, all of the influencers you're talking about are sponsored or at the very least getting full PR from Tirtir so they are going to be as positive as possible...not knocking their reviews I just know that personally when getting PR it's awfully hard to be mean or sometimes fully honest if you don't like something. If I take PR it's only from companies I already know I love the product otherwise I buy everything myself. I've worked with the sponge on 4 of these now and am a fully art school trained oil, multi media and photoshop degreed professional artist (in my previous life as a pin-up artist) who has used just about every tool and kind of art material you can imagine and I have to say this is in my opinion just not a great way to get a nice blended finish when there are better tools out there to do the job. I'm sure opinions vary but that's definitely my take. I haven't shown all the ways I've tried to make this work but trust me, it's been a lot. ;-) At the very least it is really kind of infuriating to try to use and not the best consumer experience...which is why they have influencers needing to 'train' people to use their product properly...again in my opinion, a consumer product should be a little more intuitive and easy to use...but that's just my 2 cents. ;-)

This not matte on me either, maybe on someone who has dry skin?
I didn’t like the red one either, I bought the sample card and used a brush with it given it didn’t come in a cushion package but I found it heavy and too shiny on my mature oily skin.

maybe? I think it was a miss on marketing but I'm not mad at it! 😂

I had the same issue with the red on my mature skin. Combination skin and by the afternoon my T zone was a mess and I did powder it . And by late day it was blotchy all over . Did not like it at all.

I tried a few times also. I’m in very high Fl. humidity . It’s not going to work here! I have 3 very nice foundations that work well in this climate with all day staying power. I just don’t have the patience to try so hard to make this one work !!!

@@joycebenvenuti4782 Yeah I haven't tested it this way but I don't think it's made for high humidity climates. Just curious, what are your faves for high humidity? We have high humidity but only when it's pretty cold here so still get the frizzy hair but skin is usually pretty easy vs the in the South (I'm from Louisiana so I get you!)

You shoudn´t apply it with that cushion /sponge/ directly on the face, but firstly tap on the hand or on foundation (inner) case as far I know to ensure it´s not too much product on the sponge...

Not sure how good a read you can get on a foundation if you don't road test it on its own? Putting it on over anything other than skin care/sun protection has to change how it applies, looks, wears, etc.

Understood which is why I always disclose what I'm using. I also think it's realistic that a lot of people are going to wear something under their foundations now due to increased sunscreen use. The primer I'm using here is also my sunscreen.
