- Is there One God or Three? How does one reconcile the "One God" of the Sh'ma with the "Three Persons" of the Trinity?
The doctrine of the trinity has been at the heart of much theological controversy. The routine objection is that the doctrine sacrifices monotheism to "tritheism." But this objection thrives on a misconception of divine personality in the image of disparate, individual, human selves.
This type of rationalistic apologetics, promotive of trinitarianism on speculative rather than revelational grounds, regrettably encourages this misunderstanding.
One of the reasons we suffer such misunderstanding is due to our relying on "models."
Chuck explores the ostensible tensions between the Old and New Testament revelations of the ultimate mystery of the Godhead. This is a foundational study for every Christian.

I discovered Chuck missler through Chuck Smith a few years ago I have been a tremendous amount of Bible study was Chuck missler he is an awesome teacher a man of God for sureI'm sure he is now at the foot of the Lord praising him each and every day RIP both Chuck's 😘😇❤️🙏✝️

Greetings, he is teaching heresy. There is no such thing as Trinity or Modalism in Scripture, AT ALL. Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ, IS NOT God! John 1:47 Jesus saw *Nathanael* coming to him, and saith of him, Behold, *an Israelite indeed,* in whom is no guile! 48 Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? My brother Paul *always* makes a CRYSTAL CLEAR distinction between the God of Israel and lord messiah and *who* the God is and *who* the lord messiah is. The Scriptures are crystal clear: one God (Spirit) and one lord (human), just like in the Old Testament.
For Israel, there was one God and one lord, king David. (1 Kings 1:36, 1 Cor 8:6). For this reason, Israel bowed down and worshiped God and the king (1 Chron 29:20,23). But unfortunately, the majority do not read/study (Acts 17:11). STOP following false prophets and get saved, before it's too late.

He is an unbelievable teacher. I love listening to him. I too have never gotten “hung up” on the Trinity. Going to a Catholic grammar school I never doubted it. Never doubted the virgin birth, Jesus as God and Man or His literal death, resurrection and ascension. Im ok with realizing our human brains cannot wrap our minds around some things. I take it on faith. As I got older there were things that bothered me about RC tradition but not that. Of course after I got saved and began studying the Bible,I realized most in the Catholic Church is tradition and not biblicaI.
Same with me. I was a catholic too, but reading the Bible opened my eyes.

Consider this just for fun: No matter how much God gives you, no matter HOW MUCH GOD gives of himself, God is not diminished. God is no smaller and has no less than that with which God started.

My guy, did you repent of the past and are you now walking with Christ? God is faithful. When David made the mistake with Bathsheba, did God abandon him? No. :) Christ died once-one time only-for past, present, and future sin; and just because we believe in and follow Christ, we don’t miraculously become sinless…we follow Christ because we know we are sinners and need Him. Paul said we need to know and be confident in our salvation. Of course we will pray for you, but you should also seek your confidence in God’s Word and talk to Him yourself.

My ex threatened me if I let my daughter get baptized (she was saved on her own & when she asked to get baptized I waited a month & prayed about it first) she would teach her, her own "religion". I did it & idk about witchcraft & she taught her wiccan, did rituals against me (I know now) & my daughter is now 22 & full blown practicing wiccan witch. She hates me & it's my fault I fell away cuz I had lost my job, car etc. I was homeless but bounced back 2017. It's my fault. God is just & I want him to judge me accordingly

Read Romans over and over again, especially when you fail, and find comfort and will explain your old Adam (flesh) and born-again new nature ( by believing the gospel). Old and new nature battle each other. Please study and know you are saved, Romans 10:9, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

My heart believes in a triune God, although some views of Missler attributing the trinity I'm my view are incorrect.

Not if you read the Word. It's the whole counsel of God that matters. The Living Word as revealed by the Holy Spirit. He reveals the deep things of God. Easy to comprehend but not simplistic.

Maybee this is why the word Trinity is not in the Bible. It would seem there is more than three in the God head .Only God himself knows the number that is in his Family .Gods blood line. No. We are not God. If anything Christ is the head and we, His followers, are the body-which makes us one.

For me, the Christ was NOT God. God NEVER lies nor Misinforms! IF the Christ was in FACT God, he would have simply stated that “I am God in the Flesh.” But the Christ NEVER made that Claim.
Christ said, ``I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” (THAT statement is about TWO beings! The Father (God), and the Son, Yeshua)
``If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him and have seen Him." When analyzed - “If you had known me, you would have known my father also.” Because the Son Emulates the Father. Christ does not, nor did he ever say, “I am the true living God, the Alfa and the Omega, the creator of ALL things.”

Jesus is God as is the Holy Spirit. Trinity is truth. I suggest check out Inspiring Philosophy's you tube channel and he has a series called "The Trinity Explained" that is very good. Also Anthony Rogers has good teachings on the Trinity from Genesis on.
