Provincial Domain of Zilvermeer : The Provincial Recreation Area Zilvermeer is a recreation area located in the Belgian municipality of Mol . The domain is run by the province of Antwerp . It covers an area of ​​157 hectares and includes both a camping and recreational area. [1]
The recreation area includes a swimming pond with a white sand beach, a water sports and diving pond, playgrounds, mini golf, rowing boats and pedal boats, go-karts and electric mini cars. On the domain there are several catering establishments, a large bivouac, camping huts and holiday homes accessible to the disabled. There is also an altitude trail, an adventure tower, a climbing wall with a speleobox, and other sports areas. The domain has had its own touring port since 2006 .
The domain is part of a sand extraction reserve of Sibelco . In exchange for the exploitation of the domain, the Antwerp provincial government would have reserved other land for future sand extraction. Zilvermeer bears various quality marks for environmental and nature conservation, such as the ISO 14001 certification, the Green Key and the Blue Flag . It is remarkable that the Zilvermeer has a natural purification system in its swimming pond.
Sunparks Kempen, Meren
Sunparks is a holiday park brand of the Dutch company Center Parcs Europe , which is managed by the French organization Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs Group , and is part of a "two-brand strategy". Sunparks consists of two parks, both in Belgium : one on the coast, and one in the Kempen .
