I love the way they celebrate milestones in the Philippines and other celebrities celebrate with them, this just doesn't happen in the west unless you are dead, i think Freddie santos was his brother who died a couple of yrs ago, he's the guy who wrote that brilliant song COULD YOU BE MESSIAH for GARY VALENCIANO and later MORISSETTE did a brilliant celebration cover of that classic, the older generation are still absolutely fabulous still to this day 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

Just from the impression I get from watching younger Pinoy singers on these reaction channels, I think more recent singers are more similar sounding. they’re all vocally skilled but they seem to sing the same way, the style, the runs, the tricks. singing in a way that shows off their skills more, rather than just trying to convey the emotion and meaning behind the song. The older singers like ZsaZsa, Kuh, Sharon, Regina etc even Nora Aunor, Gary, Martin, Obie, the elders, Basil Valdez, Rico Puno, Haji Alejandro, Rey Valera, APO Hiking Society, all have quite distinct tones and style. You knew right away that it’s them. Also in my impression, current OPM songs lean more R&B, hip hop, pop, and sound more western than older OPM songs. I could be totally wrong since I don’t follow the scene closely, just impression, as I said.
We SEAn/Asian, eat vegetables and white meat. We rarely eat pork and beef. That's our secret for being look younger. Plus, we are resilient. We always smile and laugh even at bad times. ❤
