Looks like you're ahead of the game, keep it up as one these days its going to start drying up and in no time you'll be planting. We never started planting till after Easter cuz it gave the ground more time to warm up and then we had a good stand or population. And lately the guys around here have been jumping right into beans after corn. Good luck love your videos and tell the family Hello.
Definitely a different kit then what I’ve seen. Ours you can change the quick connect on the pump with a line to the drum and use the same pump to fill the tank. It’s real slick for filling up quick in the field.
I would use a p-clip for the pipe as I see a free hole on the frame. Stops the rubbing more and you can still see fluid in the pipes. Cover the plastic fittings so when the sun comes out they don't split. Great video an content once again. 👌
You made some good progress. Keep it going. Very soon your time will be at a much higher premium, so it's good to get these smaller projects out of the way. The rake will be good to see when done, but it's far from urgent. Thanks for the update.
For a clean look you could look up rubber trim at mcmaster thatll fit nicely on the metals edge. You could use it on everything, that lines and wires pass through, not just this.
As long as the fill tank level is lower than the fill location on the baler tank, when you shut down after filling, have the baler tank valve off and the fill line hose valve or valves in the on position when you unhook slowly the preservative will backflow in the fill line back to your tank. Then close the valve at the end of your fill hose near the coupler to the baler tank, and your good to go. This is what we do for the starter on our planter, and we don’t lose any fertilizer to the ground, except a couple drips.
Can't believe I am the first one. It sure looks great what you have done. I hope you can get all of your hay put up now. Have said it before but I love ALL of your videos. It almost makes me feel like I am farming again
Not trying to spend your money, but now would be a good time to find cheap spares of some of the elbows and fittings while the tanks empty. Because you can just about guarantee one them will crack or break when you're trying to finish before it rains.
you should consider putting the filter in front of the pump so if you get junk in the tank it wont pass thru the pump and ruin it. its better than buying a $150 pump. i learned it from experience.
Look back in his videos like a week or two.. he says what company it is and also goes into the book and shows the parts he got. Im sure he says the name there also

HEY TRAVIS ANOTHER AWESOME VIDEO. TAKE SOME OLD HOSE AND SPLIT IT AND MAKE IT ATTACHED TOO THE METAL BRACKET. KIND OF LIKE A GROMMET.

Grease fittings on the rake bars Great Improvement 👍

Thanks for the update Travis, looks like both of your hay making projects are coming along nicely
Project looks like it’s coming together pretty good. Thanks for sharing, stay safe, wishing you and your family the best.
Use a rubber hose over that plastic line.
Can you flip the tank around so the fill is on the other side? Would make it so you don't need to jump the hitch or run around the tractor to fill it.

Well, amost ready for hay season. Thanks for the update.....

1/2" foam pipe insulation would protect the hose from chafing and doesn't look horrible
Lee Stadnyk right easy fix 👍
Hello Travis , take a old garden hose split it down open it up put it over the top of the other hose . that should work take care
Well I enjoyed part to
Looks good! Thanks for the update and video Travis!

u farmed? i work on my famliy dairy farm
Good job Travis, hope it works for You as good as it looks:):)
We got ours setup you can pump into the tank with the same pump applicator.i forgot how that worked plumbing wise.
Cool I hope it works good for you. Carl

Your right
Use a old pice of hose split down middle two zip ties and you are golden
You can get the teeth and clips at tractor supply for just about the same amount. I have an older model 256.
I am hoping ypu and your family are doing well in a clusterfuck of a time.
Get "The Juice" from nuhn forage. It is the best stuff for the job.
If you have some old heater hosd.use that to protect the hose you are worried will rub a hole in
Excellent job Travis! I wonder if a styrofoam hose cover would also work? 🤔 were the small section is by the bracket.

It is
I'm guessing the left front tire of your tractor needs some attention? Finish one job and start another. That's every day for a farmer.
Is the tractor wheel going to hit it when turning sharply?
You have to drain any liquid when it gets cold
No, as long as it doesnt get water in it
Hey Travis!!
Just a thought, could you put a small piece of PVC pipe through that metal piece, to help protect the tubing.
Break down and use a zip tie to limit its motion. ;)
How many bales do you have on the baler?
Slide some pipe insulation on there
Lots of plastic I hope it can withstand rough terrain
Hope that is not pex tubing it will break down in the sunlight and leak like a sponge
Can I get the number to the please where you got your rake parts
Look back in his videos like a week or two.. he says what company it is and also goes into the book and shows the parts he got. Im sure he says the name there also
It’s called a compression rack, not spring tensioner, for someone who thinks they know it all I’m surprised you didn’t know that
I know everything? Thanks for the compliment.
