I just watched the second one on this series. Wow! Very impressed by your presentation and work ethic. U sir have earned another Sub and I look forward to more videos in the future. Thanks again and have an awesome day!
I saw Copart bounce one off the loader forks and nosedive the car into the gravel. He picked it back up and headed for the parking lot. When I left, it was loaded on a hot shot trailer and going to the unsuspecting new owner. Sorry they did you dirty. When you hear the name COPART, you don’t associate it with honesty or integrity. Great save on that door. I’m excited to see the bedside tutorial.
Those loader drivers are Wildcats! I don’t know how they don’t destroy more than they do. Customer Service is terrible, licensing division is somewhere in outer space but that’s a whole other discussion. It only took a couple of days to fix the door and rocker but it was a good amount of work. Thanks for watching
Copart - Pittsburgh West in West Mifflin Pa., did my buddy wrong. He bids on motorcycles and rebuilds them. 4 of us went and looked over a Harley on their lot. All of us are experienced Harley mechanics. With exception of the obvious damage, the bike was mint. Under 2,000 miles. He won the bid. When we saw the fork lift bringing it out it was laying on the back of the forks. Gas tank damaged, seat damaged/ripped and once on the trailer a severe oil leak. We walked back to where it was sitting and no oil. The case was cracked, no question the fork lift caused it. He went ballistic in the Copart office. They took the bike back, but there were fees and it cost him a good bit of money, not sure how much. Where the bike was sitting we could have pulled right up to it with the trailer and loaded it. We try to buy bikes from smaller salvage yards like Norm's Cycle Salvage in Pittsburgh. At least they care about the customer.
That is terrible, those loaders are like honey bees buzzing around. Copart offered to buy it back but we didn’t get into how much that would cost. They definitely don’t make it easy to so business with and their customer service could be a little more customer oriented. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Enjoy your videos, I washed my hands with copart and their fees. Rebuilt a dozen vehicles or so and with all their fees that go up by the day, it's almost as cheap to buy clean title ones in some instances. They don't want people to preview vehicles and it's never their fault at any time for anything.
The fees are ridiculous $1360 for this truck. Funny story when the Copart driver delivered he truck he didn’t bring the title, so guess what another $20 to mail it. SMH
Nice video mahn...I always enjoy your videos and I am a Toyota truck lover too. Don't worry about Copart and the $500 bucks, they will pay out way more than that one way or the other, karma is the biggest "B " out there, and she always comes through. Keep bringing those videos.
Happened to me once as well, figured making some money & having work was better that returning it & regretting it when nothing else showed up on copart
First off Copart should have worked in your favor. They did you wrong. I love you channel and the quality work you produce. Keep the videos coming life time viewer.
They did me darty acouple of time and ones the cars are pulled or took from the parking lot. It’s a wrap and even then they didn’t want to take care of it. I’ve had cars swiped just like yours tanks punctured from forklifts, fuses missing the next day after seeing the vehicle in person.
Yes it’s true after we looked at it then shows up needing the whole side painted. I talked to the assistant GM on the phone he was apologetic but wouldn’t really budge on helping out with parts or anything. Thanks for watching!
The fact they offered to take the truck back is nice but that doesn’t change the time you wasted and your delivery fees. They definitely did you wrong no matter which way you look at it.
@@Powdermonkey99 that’s true but from what I understand that process is a little bit more involved than it sounds but they did offer to do that which is more than I thought they would. Thanks for watching
I feel like this happened to me, not good at all. Copart should do something about this. You've been buying Tacos for years and fixing them, they should refund you some cash. This is not a way to treat a loyal customer
Well Copart did you wrong at the end of the day. You did a great job of making lemon aid out of a lemon. Too bad you couldn’t find a used door. Other than that you did a good job.
@@robertbonesio5498 I could find them they are just $1000 it would have been a ton easier to just replace it. I feel like the repair will hold for a long long time. Thanks for watching !
@@OrangeWiresGarage, my apology. I meant to say. To bad that you couldn't find a door in budget. That is a bummer. but at the end of the day. You have a business budget to watch out for and copart sticking it to you. Hey, I just had a idea. Look into buying a parts Tacoma or Tacoma's and see if that will help you guys out. Like a flooded one, fresh water ones with good bodies.
The loader may be an independent contractor for copart. That would explain their independent fees. Copart itself is not going to do anything for you unless you force them to. This will take legal action against copart and the loader. Your attorney fees will cost you more than fixing the truck yourself and they know it.
Seen copart use a folk lift under the body of the car to lift it. I coment you're going to smash the brake line and the gas line it's under the car. He goes like we're been doing it for years no problem. Lol
I've had several damaged by poor fork handling - the worst being where the fork rammed right through a frame support. Copart will do nothing but laugh at you.
All that complaint i didn’t see you return it or call the people responsible for the damage. You obviously bought it cheap enough to fix it so stop complaining.

Bought an SUV at West Mifflin Copart. Never again!
Great work as always
Thank you for showing your filter system! Man I really like your style of work! I think your the best at teaching stuff. Great show!
Praying that Copart takes care of you, Brother.
Man that is a tough one Copart should have made it right!

That’s a beautiful truck. I’m sorry you got the bad end of the deal but you made the best out of it!
Some people have NO integrity. You were more than reasonable, asking for 500 bucks. Good on you for making the best of a crap deal.

This is happening too often here in the Uk 🇬🇧 too 🤷♂️

Copart is "my way or the highway". Yes they're wrong and they suck
take them to small claims court - they dont wanna deal with that!!!
Copart did offer to take the truck back with ( I believe ) full refund .
