  • This project involved a comprehensive renovation of a charming 1920s house nestled in Portland’s Northwest Hills. The transformation began by relocating the kitchen to the sunniest side of the house, ensuring it was filled with natural light throughout the day. The designer also expanded the functionality of the home by adding a second canning and project kitchen in the basement, ideal for the family's culinary and creative endeavors. To enhance the lifestyle amenities, the designer incorporated a luxurious sauna and a sophisticated wine cellar, creating perfect spaces for relaxation and entertainment. Additionally, they designed a convenient upstairs laundry room to streamline daily chores. Throughout the renovation, the goal was to seamlessly blend new elements with the home's original vintage charm, resulting in a space that feels both contemporary and timeless. The final result is a warm and inviting home tailored to the needs and tastes of a sweet young family of four, providing them with both comfort and style.
