Got this guitar a week ago and i can safely say it's the best guitar I've had in the last 15 years. Intonation is perfect, the scale isn't as cumbersome as I thought. And if you're into djent, the pickups will give you the impression you're playing strings off the golden gate fucking bridge.
Question, which one is better? this one or schecter C7 pro? I want to get a new guitar since mine is broken but I'm stuck between these 2 beauties 😭😭😭😭
Man all these comments are super surprising. Do people really not know that Cort makes all the guitars (almost) for every major manufacturer? They own huge factories in Indonesia and S. Korea. If you don't have an American, Mexican, or World Music Korean made guitar, there is a 99% chance you have a guitar made by Cort/Cortek. Most brands are moving from the WMI factory and moving to Cortek in Indonesia, most recently PRS.
Even PRS! Crazy. Yeah the reality is there are like 2 or 3 (IIRC) main guitar factories in SE Asia that make 90% of guitars under $2000. It sounds like quality control varies by manufacturer but many are very close.
@@Unmaleable I had a cort artisan 5 string bass(aka Laguna Ocean) that was a little over $700 and I have never played a better bass for that price. Nobody beats Cort or Ibanez when it comes to bang for your buck. I want this guitar lol
i just tried the Cort MBC-1...i was just expecting the worst shitty sound ever...but daaamn.. playability and pickups were daaamn awesome!!! for non premium build...was a rock machine!!!

Wonderful. I finally found a good demo for this guitar. You're the man Trey. Love this guitar. The only thing that I would change is the pickups. I personally prefer passive pickups. In overall, it's an awesome instrument.

My first guitar was a Cort and it sucked. However I've tried a surprisingly good one in the meantime so I'm willing to give this the benefit of the doubt. If it had stainless steel frets I might even order one. By the way you can easily swap the volume yourself.

Brutal Weenie Yeah, the Cort logo is kinda more for vintage guitars, they should change it for KX series like a more Metal logo, and when it’s about Classic Rock Series they should keep it.

it's a beautiful guitar. but i cannot use it. since I want a fixed solid bridge and 6 Strings. with such requirement there is only KX Custom and KX 5 sadly.

I know that Ibanez has a very comfortable neck and I have never tried multiscale but this guitar seems to be worth the price. I think that decision will be made based on tone. Best Regards
I imagine if a brand like Zombie would start making quality guitars they won`t be considered seriously because of the brand name. For me the same goes for Cort. When I was in a college everyone who started playing guitars had Cort or smth like Alina Pro. They can`t build fine instruments with the same brand name if they want them to be sold well

Easy no brainer if its not beat to shit. I just ordered one for 700 and I think that is a great deal. This guitar has features that you only see in the 1000-1200 range.

I've got it delivered this morning and I'm over the top with this guitar, the beautiful woods, the sound and especially the low weight is a huge bonus for me, I love this guitar!
