As much as I like your voice, I agree that there wasn’t enough power put into it. It’s not bad, though I can tell you’re not really used to putting a lot of power into singing. Ngl I did get a little excited when I saw the upload, but I’m also looking forward to other covers as well.
She never puts any power in her covers. Tbh, (plus my opinion), Juby has a lot to improve on, but not making any progress. It sounds like she just sings, no power or anything, and slap on intense mixing. I understand if the mixing is part of her style, but again, she has a lot to improve. Her high notes don't seem well-developed. (Or maybe it is just her soprano vocals?) Her mixing seems to hide her full potential. She doesn't have a versatile vocal, yet she chooses songs in a range and intensity that makes her voice screechy. You gotta understand what your vocal can and can not do. I don't hate Juby, but she's my least favorite. When it comes to singing, you just don't sound good. There's MUCH more than that. Besides Juby needing improvement despite being the most popular, there are actually some others that outshine Juby's vocals. But I do like the clean tone and voice acting (in covers) of Juby. Otherwise, I don't think she should be in the spot of the most popular youtaite if she's clearly an amateur vocalist with tons of mixing. (No one likes intense mixing or autotunes these days.) There are youtaites with more skilled vocals yet there not that as popular.
Connie Ma I think one of the reasons she’s popular is her unique voice and well-written lyrics, not her vocal technique. She could definitely improve her vocals, but I disagree that she doesn’t deserve her popularity. It’s just that her vocal range/style doesn’t suit some of the more intense songs she sings (which she very likely sings just ‘cause she likes them not necessarily from her thinking she’s gonna sing it super well). I understand that the less popular youtaites aren’t getting as much attention, but I don’t think it’s right to disregard Juby’s hard work she puts in her singing and lyrics.

I do agree with Juby's need for improvement though,but her mixing and well-written lyrics make up for it. Juby still deserves this kind of popularity in my opinion,since some of her songs are actually quite enjoyable even though she doesn't reach the desired note,power,and/or tune. I was in the middle of a new video by another one of my favourite RUclipsrs and I paused the video and literally spent twenty minutes deciding what to do and by then I was spacing out and when I realized how long I was like that I was like, "Screw this Juby all the way lol-" and here I am and I did NOT regret my decision-- _i'm so proud of myself lol_
Maybe you've done it already but have you ever thought of switching between languages in the song? Maybe in the chorus or a section that the music changes? Great as always!
