    I love the 376TH design! The late 2020 models moved the door to the rear of the slide to access bed and bath. This is also the 1st 376TH video (I've seen dozens) I've found with a bike in the garage to be able to get some perspective on the size. Outstanding job showing it off!

      Platt 365 Even better yet, as a full-timer, they’ve been amazing with our short list of warranty issues while on the road, shipping us parts to install ourselves and reimbursing for purchased items. @@thepupsandus3654 Partly due to the graphics. I like the bolder graphics of the Momentum 376TH, compared to the subdued look of the Solitude 374TH. I also did not want the front window as we put on alot of miles since we're full-time and afraid of more breakage and/or chips. Lastly, I wanted the integrated generator and aux. fuel tank. Other than that, the floorplan is exactly the same. I was, and still am on the fence with the refrigerator. Ours comes with an RV fridge, whereas the 374 has a residential. We're among the unfortunate few who learned about this lifestyle AFTER working until retirement age ... we purchased our first RV (31' Class A, no slides) a few years ago for "trial and error" ... it's paid-off and we ENJOY IT, but now we'd like to upgrade to newer and shorter (less than 30') ... if you happen to come across some folks who live in a smaller Class A (more specifically, an RUV made by Thor), not Class B or vans, please ask about cargo weight (how much stuff it holds) ... that would be super helpful! 90% happy with a rig's layout, features, and comfort is really good because as we all say "There's no perfect rig.". I do have one question about the toy 'box' and access to it. Was there access to it from inside the rig or is access only from the garage door at the back? The office area (and the soon to be other office area) really make working a full day so much nicer with all those windows around the desk. Sunshine and an awesome view while working can make a world of difference for mental health and it beats the heck out of sitting in a 3x3 cubicle farm all day! Thank you to the Wendes for allowing you to share their home with us. This was one of the cons on the VERY small list and knew it when we purchased. You cannot reach the bathroom or bedroom with all the slides closed. You can, however, turn off one of the slides in the opposing and connected hydraulic kitchen/dinette slides. Grand Design has an added, manual valve system that allows you to “ turn off” either slide so that only the other one works. Close the valve to the refrigerator side slide and only the dinette slide is pressurized, allowing you to control it indefinitely. While the slide still needs to be opened for access, we haven’t had and problems with it. As full-timers, we spend a decent amount of time in parking lots, etc. for quick overnight stays while traveling. We simply plan our parking so that we’re level and that side is on the edge of an area where we can put it out and not be in the way of anyone. Since this rig fit the bill in so many other areas, we decided to let this important need “slide“. (LOL) It’s honestly not been an issue and because of it, we’ve found many more restful nights, away from others and noise, that we would have most likely just dealt with if we just parked anywhere with no thought. Hope this answers your question and gave you more insight on how we deal with the downside to it.

What's kind of ironic is that we started to purchase the Solitude version back in the beginning, but decided not to at that time....mostly because I refuse to go back to an RV gas/electric refrigerator which is all the dealership in the Denver area stocked....well that, and I really wanted a king-size bed. So off we went looking...Heartland Cyclone & Road Warrior, Forest River Riverstone, Keystone Montana, along with other Momentums. Your interview with them made me decide to order one. Being as that would be my side of the bed, for me that's not an issue. Thank you for the feedback. One more question please....the refrigerator, is a Residential one an option in this model? I've had some unpleasant experiences with the RV gas/electric in the travel trailer we use to have and don't want to repeat them. Plus, I would think that the amount of solar you have would be adequate to boondock with on.

    I am still doing research and homework, and never really considered a toy hauler, as I don't have "toys." I was leaning toward a 5th wheel, for the better ground clearance,, and the flat all-the-way-across garage for my mother-in-law's mobility scooter. Now, I think it might be easier to have it in the back of a toy hauler, and it wouldn't have to be disassembled every time she was done using it, in order to stow it. Plus, I could put my bicycle and rollerblades back there, without impinging in interior storage.
    Plus, it would hold some of my larger tools, like the chop saw and scroll saw...

    What is the running height of their rig and have they had any issues with traveling with their size of rig?

    • @WheelinwiththeWendes
      @WheelinwiththeWendes 5 лет назад

      Overall height is 13’5”. Our last rig was only an inch shorter. At this height you COULD get into trouble, especially on the east coast where overpasses are more prevalent. But, we tend to plan well and stay mostly on highways where bridges are at or over the 13’6” regulation so we don’t need to worry so much. We also use the Garmin RV 770 GPS in conjunction with the truckers atlas. So far we haven’t had any problems. The length is 41’3”, which is long, but with planning and practice, can be whipped into many spots.

Go through the motions of daily life to be sure it fits you. I use to full time with my wife for about 7 months. We purchased a brand new 2015 Fusion Toy Hauler with a 16 ft garage in March of 2015. In October of 2015 we brought it back to the dealership for some minor repairs and service. 4 days prior to getting it back, the service department went up in flames destroying over 20 units including mine. The wife decided instead of replacing it, we would buy a sticks and bricks home. Now I’m at least 9+ years from retirement and I’m researching what RV we would like to get into, and what it will take to acquire one and be debt free.

    I'm not sure I understand the comment that the owner made about not being able to access the bedroom and bathroom while on the road. Looking at the floor plan, it seems that you can easily access the bathroom without putting any of the slides out, and I'm guessing that you could at least climb into bed even if you can't walk around it?

    • @todayissomeday
      @todayissomeday Год назад

      When the slides are closed the kitchen slide blocks the stairs to the bed and bathroom. So you can not access these rooms. Actually almost the entire kitchen is blocked by the slides when closed.
