Explanations of basic things like these are still very helpful. I find the still simple stuff confusing and see a huge difference between DMR and normal VHF/UHF analog operations. I'm still trying to figure out how to connect with the DMR system. The "don't kerchunk the repeater" idea is too deeply ingrained.

Question: Do I upgrade my Bridgecom Anytone 878 uv plus radio firmware from 1.21 to version 3? Or do I just stick to this version? Thank you.
You can update to 3.03. Please go to support.bridgecomsystems.com/product-support and then scroll to 878 V1 and then 3.03.
