They're doing it for entertainment. The point is they do it, and they kind of get away with it... even though it might hurt a bit, they're actually ultimately okay. The idea is not to actually break bones and cause paralysis or anything like that. They aren't stupid... They're not looking to physically damage their human existence. It's really all about let's be funny, let's be silly, let's make a video that You Tube will like! It's really not about, let's actually physically injure ourselves. That would be stupid. And that's of course not what they want.
