Solid video. Been trying to incorporate more mobility exercises to compliment strength training. Starting to find a limit to strength training as I couldn’t quite find the depth or range of motion to keep right form and mobility work has helped a ton on and off the bike.

Some of these poses form part on many yoga flow sequences. I mention flow as you did, in yoga a controlled breath is important as it calms the mind whilst going through the sequence. I also find that the breath (called the ujjayi breath) can improve stamina. I use the ujjayi breath technique while performing zone 2 workouts on a spin bike. Which also distracts me from the boredom of the of the act 😄

Cheers mate. I didn't talk about breath in this, except to remind people to relax and breathe, but I do agree that giving it some thought can be beneficial.

To start, with, or if you sit all day at work, then I would do it at least every other day. If you have good mobility levels and are fairly active, then 2 per week would be a great baseline. Then add a session if you feel tight or stiff. You may also have specific areas that need more work - daily possibly - to improve. There is nothing wrong with doing this before weights as long as you do plenty of activation and warm up sets before lifting heavy. Straight from a long stretch hold into heavy work is a recipe for disaster!
