Man, this guy has the life. Strength and speed, excellent and almost limitless health and fitness, a wife who's madly in love with him, an awesome hair-do, and a bad-ass, well-deserved attitude. Who wouldn't want to be this guy??
I love how everytime Slayer "loses", he just lays in the ground with his face supprted by his hand, and an annoyed look on his face...while all other characters actually fall uncouncious upon defeat... Making true the manual's statement that, as a 1000-year-old Vampire, he must be still hidding his real power, and doesn't take his battles seriously...
love how Slayer's whole lore is that he's basically a god. makes his whole kit and style feel so perfect. he could kill you with one hit, but instead he mixes you up and styles on you like Dante or Vergil. playing against a strong +R Slayer can be tough but it has lead to the most intense matches of GG I've ever had. great character design, even better game.

Mixing up styles/styling on people on people and combos aren't exclusive to Dante and Vergil. Alot of other characters are famous are known for that in almost all anime.

Slayer/Rachel or Val: the similarity was either the role or the way they fight only while the style was completely different. Slayer was a heavy ass damage dealer and a dodge and counter heavy thanks to dandy step. Surprisingly, he got the highest damage output of the GG cast (even more than Potempkin) Arakune/Testament: had a similar cursed style but Testament was more of a trap and cursed style. Tsubaki/Order Sol: their Charging style but OS was more power heavy and more into punish.
This theme and the one from Xrd are GG's answer to Iori Yagami's Arashi no Saxophones. I wish the saxophone being more noticeable to compete better with the other song.
Obviously, he got bored. Though, I don't think he can ever really leave the Swag Dimension. The Swag Dimension is always centered on Slayer, it goes where he does.
If you look closely and pause the frames a few times, one of Slayer's BLOCKING ANIMATIONS is a thumbs up sign and the satan horns sign. He's just that awesome.
As a KOF fan, I can't help but imagine Iori and Kyo absolutely killing it with the sax and guitar, Chizuru playing the bass and Shingo for some reason on the drums.
Also, I'd have to say that Gold Slayer is the strongest character in the game. He does a lot of damage and recovers health according to it, making him almost impossible to kill unless you're using gold Sol or an instant kill. Gold Justice might work too.
I always found Slayer harder than the final boss and when you (finally) beat him you feel like you accomplished nothing because he just lays like "*sigh*, I tire of this altercation..." XD

Most of them(aside from Millia, May, and Ky's theme, which were the very reason I started finally playing the games) just felt like generic rock tunes to me... But then I heard this song while Slayer was kicking my ass and making me look like a chump in Arcade Mode. For whatever reason, It lit a spark in me and woke me the hell up. Later, I started to pay attention to the ost of the game and realized how legendary all of it is. This song has a lot of meaning to me now and made me a X2 fan.
Yeah, even if a lot of the songs in the game could come off as generic, most if not all of them fit their characters very well and have a unique flare to them that makes them memorable to me.
Alas the Dandy Gentleman himself was but bait for the Dataminers.. Much love to Testament and their character development, but still hoping for Slayer come Season 2!

yeah it's one of the few songs where you can't cover it very completely on guitar unless you transcribe all the sax parts.
