- Minutes with McNabb is so excited to have Taime Downe , the lead singer of the hard rock band Faster Pussycat, on our show today. If you grew up in the 80’s and love rock n roll, this is the interview for you. Tamie talks about the 80’s rock scene in LA, his outrageous, humorous stories about rocking and partying with Guns and Roses, Poison, Motley Crue, and Kiss and what was going on at the Cat House on the Sunset Strip. Be ready to finally find out what was going on behind the scenes.
Very blessed to have McNabb and Downe around today. Bands like Faster Pussycat got me through starting a new school and my parents getting divorced. Even though I had a bad ass Father that was awesome , House of Pain always takes me back to those days . Rock n Roll!!!

Saw Faster Pussycat in Atlanta last night with Enuff Z'Nuff opening...great show...Faster Pussycat still has it...they command the stage...will see them again!
The first time I saw them in Tucson, Taime jumped in the crowd and was fighting with one of the guys from the opening band. Earned a fan for life that night.
I was lucky enough to meet taime very nice down to earth guy very fan friendly
I remember seeing Faster Pussy Cat back in the day at a small rock club in Brooklyn NY L'Amour Rocks I was with my band at the time and I was changed for life after seeing that show they even had this old van with cat paw prints all over it was definitely a time when musicians kept it raw and real...
I saw Pussycat twice at L'Amour, first time '87, and then again in 1989 with Pretty Boy Floyd opening ... Great place to see bands and girls

I heard the Bondage Boys on college radio one time in 1984 or 85. Really liked it but never heard them again.
Taime Downe n Faster Pussycat have been my ultimate rockers since their inception in late 1980',s!!! They are the newer incarnation of Hanoi Rocks, also one of my top favourites!!! Taime is timeless, n still is creative, cool, slickly packaged, great and unusual lyrics

I saw this guy play in 87 ...opened up for Alice Cooper.
Tamie and I dated crazy sisters from Houston… The Sanchez Sisters! His would come to LA and her leave her with me to entertain while he would go play gigs! I sang for CIRCUS back in the Strip days! I’ll see Tamie this Sunday in San Antonio!
18:32 absolutely right. A clearly defined sound is more important than range. You hear "House of Pain" and you don't think Mick or Paul. You think Taime and that is brand recognition.
