I came here as a kid back in 1985-88 when my dad was in the Army. We were stationed in Schwabach. Never knew back then that the parking-lot used to be an airfield back in WWII for Nazi planes to land, and the coliseum you see in the background was modeled after the Roman coliseum to hold rallies. Nevertheless we always had an amazing time! Some of my core memories were walking from the parking lot to the the entrance, and hearing "Hall and Oates" playing "Your out of Touch" while seeing people riding the swings that went in circles! I miss this place, and hope to bring my kids here some day!

Nein, beim Frühlingsfest gibt es am Osterwochenende zur Eröffnung nie ein Feuerwerk. Hier hat man sich wohl auf Grund der Feiertage etc. dagegen entschieden.
