If you like the music then you're a goth no matter how you dress. If you want to look goth just start wearing more black; you don't have to be fancy with it. Rebuilding one's self esteem after bullying is hard but you'll feel better the more you work on it. You deserve your happiness. Goth was my escape from bullying and everything wrong with the '80s. It gave me the confidence to be myself and the mental fortitude to deal with things. If you're always going to be different you might as well embrace it.
