Spot on! My dad attended the US Army Command and General Staff College at Ft. Leavenworth. We stayed there just over one year, then we moved back to Europe. I was only 7 years old in 1994, but I can honestly say I had the best time of my life, and so did my parents and sister. I randomly remember some lady always saying "Radio Kansas City, Kansas" on the radio...I don't know why I remember that, but I think I found it funny! Thank you for uploading the video.
oh wow!! My great great grandfather was murdered and is buried there. I have always wanted to go but could not make the trip;. Thank you so much for sharing so i can see where he lived his last years on earth and where he is buried as well. Beautiful video
This video brings back so many memories, I am so happy to have found it. When I was little we lived in the pink house above Kiddy Land and my PaPa ( John Howard ) used to take me there all the time. John Howard that I speak of is the John Howard retired Army and who was on the Police and Sheriffs Dept. there in Leav.
This is where my existence started being created My grand parents lived there during WW2 and the Korean War actually lived in the 700 block of Dokota street ❤ the place just Cause I’m Supposed to Damnit 😂😂❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉🎉❤ I bleed RedWhiteBlue my Necks RedWhiteBlue Patriotism is in my dna 🇺🇸 this era must be forever remembered Hardest Fighting Generation Ever #🇺🇸NeverForgotten🇺🇸
💫Thank you for watching and your comment. Leavenworth is the oldest city in Kansas. Such a lot of history, starting with the old west. You have a lot to be proud of.
