It needs pvp and I haven’t even played it yet. Makes a game a lot more fun when you have the ability to test the gear you grind hard for on other players. Don’t have to play the part though obviously just like in destiny.
I'm okay with this. Destiny has shown you have two choices for PvP in a looter shooter. Let be horribly imbalanced and eventually abandoned by frustrated players or balanace it endlessly indirectly ruining the fun of the PvE

PVP would create a shit storm because you can buy power. Yes you can also just farm it, but when someone else buying power can directly translate to YOU losing, like it does in PVP, that makes it an even bigger issue.
Think about it, the best characters have Aoe damage and pvp is all about single target damage to kill players. It doesn’t work and it never really has. No MMO has good pvp and it’s proven by the lack of players playing pvp modes in mmos.
Honestly I do partially agree with you but I've played ESO pvp and it's probably the most balanced MMO game I've played when it comes to pvp it has a lot of players doing pvp (still has problems tho)
@@toro9675 I remember playing 2-3 rounds of a domination type game mode in eso a long time ago and you’re right those modes were pretty fun actually. I think it’s the movement in that game that made it feel that way for me tho.
I was kind of hoping it would have it bc I loved destiny 1’s pvp, but so far the game is still good without pvp and I’m loving it. It’s more of a destiny game than destiny 2
It should get pvp but the way destiny does it where it’s a side thing and doesn’t take away from the actual gameplay of the looting and shooting and facing tough and unique bosses
for those of u saying "not every game needs pvp" well it doesnt hurt to have a game mode for it. take a look at warframe and destiny. It literally doesnt hurt to have a game mode for pvp, and a pvp mode also allows people to come back to the game after they beat it.
