Rozumiem Cię, można się wkurzyć. Ale spoko, stator przewiniesz i będzie chodził jak brzytwa. Ja na 1190 zrobiłem prawie 60 tysięcy zero awarii, jak sprzedałem miale 123 tysiące na liczniku. teraz 1290 bo nie mogło być inaczej, najechane 48 tysięcy, żadnych problemów. Często zdarza się, że ludzi podpinają pod elektrykę motocykla nawigację, telefony, kamery, halogeny i dziwią się że jest problem. KTM 1290 to potężna jednostka, potrzebuje od cholery energii już przy odpaleniu, to nie rzędowa czwórka że odpalisz ją na baterii od zegarka. Motocykl stoi tydzień, dwa , nagle ludzie wskakują na niego , odpalają i włączają cała choinkę i zaczynają się jaja bo stator nie nadąża to załadować. Sugestia dla wszystkich, nie jeździsz dłużej, tydzień, dwa, podładuj akumulator przed wyjazdem, daj mu prądu. Wtedy nic się nie stanie. A sam motocykl, jeździłem na japońcach takich i owakich, ale charakterem żaden nie może nawet stać przy KTM.
Really surprising, my 1190R does 260 in Germany, I thought the 1290 would easily top that given the amount of rpm you have left... sick bike though, 240 is plenty!! I’ll admit my bike feels like a death trap at those high speeds...
@@Gutachter_Spiczak IMO it's because of a well setup suspension. Especially front-to-back. Lightening the front will make the bike wobble at high speeds. Of course well balanced wheels help too. One question though: as far as I know the R is electronically limited to 125mph or about 202km/h. 240km/h on your speedo, even with considerable tach error, seems unrestricted to me. How's that?

I have the same bike model 2018, with the windshield of the S. Suspension hardened and Dunlop Meridian tyres: like a TGV or ICE. At 240kmh a kind of speed limit intervened ...did you change anything to the electronic? By the way only Germany has similar highways..🙂👍

@@Gutachter_Spiczak my KTM dealer in Rome said that because one can use the M&S tyres on the R, KTM limits its speed at around 240 while the S is "open"..240 is quite enough to leave the BMWs behind 🙂

@@pabloperez4063 I really enjoy riding my 2009 VFR, it’s been extremely reliable and has the character that appeals to me. That said, it’s not perfect and not for everyone. I’ve been riding for 50+ years and at nearly 70, even with Heli-bars, it’s neither Goldwing comfortable nor CB1000R fast/quick. I like it’s bi-polar character - hit 6800 rpm and (with the correct mods and tuning) it transforms from a placid touring to a stable and predictable sports bike. So, yes, depending on what’s important, I’d wish every rider would experience a fifth or sixth generation VFR!
@@UncleWally3 had vfr750. now ktm 1190 adv. miss the vfr perfect aerodynamics from fairing! love offroad riding now though...can drop bike without concern of priceless plastic fairings but smooth aerodynamics is constant battle for adv bikes. if vfr1200 had same crossplane sound i would have it now too.

Dunno if you know but the R model's 6th gear is heavily restricted due to potential stability issies with a 21 inch front tire at high speeds.

What tires are you using in this video ? I have a 1290 with the stock TCK 80 tires. Its almost time for new ones.
I have metzeler karoo street tires. Speed index 240 km/h and they are enough good on gravel.

The bike still has reserve, unfortunately electronically limited, but sometimes I think to myself that maybe so is better 😉.
1190 it has an error on the speedometer of 10%, 260 is the real 240, I don't know if 1290 has the same error

I did 240kph on my 2020 SAS with room to punch it more. I weigh 114kg. What a boss machine!

Pretty fast for an adventure bike. How does it behave at top speed and did you make any changes to the suspension before using it on the street?
my KTM behaves stable, of course, the front wheel must be loaded enough. I drive wit normal settings, so that it is good on the road and off-road.
