@@drothicyaaresh6915 if a card gets returned into the deck or extra deck, it's "if this card leaves the field" effect doesn't trigger.
You were supposed to force your opponent to bounce your link Krawlers with Mind Meld, simultaneously triggering their floating effects and stopping opponent's card, but now there's no floating, you just lose your link 2. And you will always lose your link 2 if you have it on the field, even if you have other faceup Krawlers, because Mind Meld makes opponent decide which card to bounce. It sucks even more, because the grave effect of MM is still really good.
@Dark Matter that’s actually very clever using it in beetrooper. I’d imagine it might be a bit bricky bc you are already running a number of semi-bricks like dozer and the high levels and you need to run at least 2 krawlers, but soma can indeed combo off of any monster, even ur hand traps like ash or crow (since that’s more popular in POTE format. And it could even be a boon for beetrooper fusion since as you said they are flips and you can possibly make shaddoll fusions with construct. Imma try that out actually in my DB beetrooper deck, thnx

Its gonna be an albaz solo, they're part of the same lore, and they're the current big lore after world legacy, which has like 3 gates on its own in Master Duel already.

@@darklombax2580 because most of those archetypes are really old and really bad, in comparison to world legacy where much of it is still semi-playable at least, while also having tons of support cards, compared to lost duel terminal archetypes which are just monsterpiles and if you want spell/traps you need staples.
The 2 exceptions they did so far were Gem Knights because they demonstrate Fusion summoning well as well as Qliphort because theres like actually close to 0 Pendulum archetypes that arent part of some lore and arent an anime deck.

Also, Dinomist is a part of Dracoslayer lore.

Literally was buying cards to play this deck then I saw this video upload, the timing couldn't be better. Was fun to watch
I'm not sure how open you are to suggestions or combos but I got a big text wall of ideas that may or may not be helpful;
You can run 3 Girsu, 1 Mind Meld despite it being worse after the return to extra deck changes and 1 or 2 Lib, Girsu on summon allows you to dump Mind Meld into the grave and get a token for Lib or something else, Lib is enabled with Mind Meld in grave and can set directly from deck Pawns for Deus, and Mind Meld can summon Deus right from deck in face down defense.
Also with Soma, you can run a Ghostrick package consisting of 1 Socuteboss, 2 angel of mischief, shot and scare combined with Utopic Future and Utopic Draco Future since you can make Socuteboss with soma, overlay into angel 1, use its effect detaching Socuteboss for shot, revive Socuteboss with shot, overlay again and search again for scare, then the usual overlay into UDF leaving you with your face down monster and another Krawler, which you can flip face up on your opponents turn with scare.
If you can manage to get 2 level 2's on field before using Soma, with for example Nimble Beaver or Rescue Cat, you can use Soma on Angel of Mischief after you searched Shot so you can flip it up with Shot under a Subterror Behemot Fiendess you made with Soma and a Krawler it summoned to search and summon for example Guard Dog, which is a great example that along as its a flip effect, they can print stupid jank on there. With the fact Rescue Cat can also just straight up summon Guard Dog and a level 2 from deck is something I'm experimenting with but not sure if that's better then doing it with Behemoth Fiendess.
What may be possible to far fetched but still something that works is Small World with 1 Dinowrestler Pankratops, which allows you to turn any level 2 krawler into either Krawler Soma or Girsu, which can help with consistancy and even if you do pull Pankratops, not the best but its still a Pankratops.
With Gigantic Spright, you can use it to summon Knightmare Corrupter Iblee from deck, use it and Gigantic to link summon Elf or something else which summons Iblee on the opponents field for its link summon lock, and then with the fact your opponent controls a monster you can summon Gigantic Spright or another Rank/Link 2 right back with Elf.
With a Girsu and Soma in hand, you can end on an end board with UDF, Facedown Deus with Ghostrick Scare and I:P + Link 2 for Link 4/Goddess of Underworld OR Toadally Awesome;
You dump Mind meld with Girsu normal summon, summon a token for you and your opponent in the middle, flip Girsu down and summon 2 Krawlers from deck with Soma, overlay the 2 Krawlers into Socuteboss, use the token and Soma and make Shinobi Insect Hagakuremino and make sure it points to the enemy token, Effect Socuteboss to pop the token and then Hagakuremino's effect to summon the Krawler you detached for cost back onto the field, from there just overlay for Mischief, detach Socuteboss and search Shot, revive Socuteboss and overlay for second Mischief, search again for Scare and then overlay into UDF. Then banish Mind Meld to summon Deus X under Hagakuremino and then overlay Hagakuremino and the Krawler into Gigantic Spright, summon from deck Swap Frog and send Ronintoadin, With Gigantic Spright and Swap Frog make Spright Elf reviving Swap Frog and sending Dupe or Swap Frog to graveyard. Then Ronintoadin's effect to summon himself by banishing the frog you just dumped and then you have a choice, make I:P Masquerena for a Link 4/Goddess of Underworld play or overlay into Toadally Awesome.
And lastly, Sol and Luna could be useful for more purer version of Krawler since it allows you to flip up or down your own Krawler while disrupting your opponents monster.
EDIT: Removed a slight bit from the second combo and redid the 6th. I messed up and how I at first described wouldn't work.

I'm still experimenting with the deck so the ratios are probably not great, I changed the second and sixth part of my original comment so you may want to re-read it if you dont want to be confused.
Main Deck:
3 Girsu, 3 Soma, 1 Deus, 2 Receptor, 2 Glial, 1 Spine, 1 Axon, 1 Ranvier, 2 Guard Dog, 1 Pankratops, 3 Nimble Beaver, 2 Nimble Angler, 3 Swap Frog, 1 Dupe Frog, 1 Ronintoadin.
3 Succession, 3 Small World, 3 Survivor, 1 Ghostrick Shot.
1 Ghostrick Scare, 1 Pawns, 1 Mind Meld.
Extra Deck:
1 Ghostrick Socuteboss, 2 Ghostrick Angel of Mischief, 1 Number F0: Utopic Future, 1 Number F0: Utopic Draco Future, 1 Spright Elf, 1 Gigantic Spright, 1 Lib the World Key Blademaster, 1 I:P Masquerena, 1 Subterror Behemoth Fiendess, 1 Shinobi Insect Hagakuremino, 1 Toadally Awesome.
The last 3 slots are whatever else you want and the link 4(s) and/or Goddess of the Underworld, for me its Avramax, Almiraj and Pitknight Earlie.
I personally like Avramax and don't own other good rank 4's.
Almiraj is a backup plan incase you're opening hand is really bad but you pull Succession and a level 2 allowing you to get into Spright Elf, Revive the level 2, overlay into Spright Gigantic, summon Swap Frog dumping Ronintoadin, Return Swap Frog to hand and prey that a 3.2K can keep you alive for that turn, although don't expect it to.
Pitknight Earlie is just there as a Flexible link 2, nothing more or less.
You could take the last 2 Extra Deck spots for Shaddoll Construct and El Shaddoll Winda since you can use Facedown Girsu and Shaddoll Construct to make Winda.
You'd dump Mind Meld, summon tokens, flip Girsu down with Soma, token and Soma into Lib setting Pawns, Krawlers from Soma into Shaddoll Construct, Mind Meld banish to summon Deus and finish off with Construct's effect to fusion summon Winda.
I, uh, I think MBT knows about the Ghostrick engine

It's funny because it can be a splight deck playing 2 angel, socuteboss and shot to go into UDF and it'd work perfectly fine for that concept. I do wonder if with toad dead those 4 ED and 1 MD spaces are fine for a similarly competitive alternative.

I love the fact that MBT's favourite FLIP archetype is Krawler, as if he hasn't created an entire persona based on a completely _different_ FLIP archetype lmao.
Suggestions are
Play mindmeld and lib in deck and you can foolish the meld to grave the special deus from deck and use lib to set pawns so you skill drain immediately on opponent while keeping the sprite line live after you special the deus

A deck I've been seeing cropping up here and there on the internet is something I'd love for you to test out: Vernusylph Stun. Essentially, it uses a Vernusylph engine to get out powerful Earth-attribute floodgate and one-of disruption monsters to stun the opponent to death. King Tiger Wanghu (my boy!) is a popular option for this, as well as stuff like Machina Citadel, Pankratops, Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo, and even Therion Regulus as a 2-of by itself. Other options I've seen include Aphormage Goliath/Gluttony, and Barrier Statue of the Drought. It seems like an interesting anti-meta option for the upcoming meta, and I would love for you to try it out and see how well it does.
I’ve been playing this deck for a while, and these additions are pretty cool. It kind of feels like a new skull servant.
Also, it is for sure the best partner for ishizu in my opinion. The deck really benefits from the increased options after milling, and there’s even a combo with the field spell.

Krawler Soma is 100% worth looking into more. OTT Krawler Subterror or OTT Krawler Shaddoll are actually good ideas.

You should try Krawler beetrooper. Soma is a much needed boost of juice and is searchable by resonance insect as part of the regular combo line. No one is talking about it at all but soma might be one of the most insane cards I’ve seen. Free special summon of itself, summons 2 bodies, and has no real limitations

You should consider running Worm Bait in there, they can summon 2 tokens that fit the requirements for either of the horizontal arrow Krawler links.

Based and krawlerpilled. I love soma and deus so any deck that plays flip turbo is based and krawlerpilled
With my Krawler deck, I prefer to run 96 Dark mist and Phantom knights cursed javelin. I am also building a Krawler/Paleozoic deck as well. It's obvious, but the paleos act as support and can be used as materials for my Xyz monsters. It's basically an Xyz Link hybrid deck.
If you play girsu, mind meld and lib, you can set up Deus-X turn one.

I'm a huge fan of Krawler.., here in the local tournament I used Krawler Spright Combo.,, they call me annoying because Krawler floats hahaha btw we used OCG rulings here in the Philippines

I read Soma when I pulled it and it made me sad I don’t own any krawlers. This deck is sick, flip monsters are based, I love them
Well everything should be dirt cheap they are commons and the links are the only thing "high rarity" in the deck(plus survivor).
In the crbr sneak I managed with my packs pull all the krawler core(exceptions like missing 1 qualiark)
Terror in Hidden City give all those bugs a huge boost+More floating.

Does anyone know the lore behind Soma? Like clearly it's Blue Sky- they have the same level and Statline, but where in the lore timeline does he fit? Blue died to give Avram his power. Is this in the new world where Lib lives?

1) It obviously has synergy because the Krawlers are insects.
2) In my testing, it's allowed me to extend further than I was able to previously (making maybe a 3-4 material Appo and/or I:P in addition to the regular board and interruptions)
3) it gives me more resilience against high-impact handtraps like Nibiru (Beetroopers' mortal enemy)
4) Even if the monster is face-down, you can still tribute it for Invincible Atlas's effect. Meaning, you can still get value off the card if it's something like a Resonance Insect.
5) World Legacy Survivor let's you search for Krawler Soma or World Legacy Survivor. The latter has become a staple in my Beetrooper builds because you can run Resonance Insect + Salamangreat Almiraj.
If you wanna talk combos, we can. For context, I've been dedicated to Beetrooper since the deck came out.

I don't get why you would normal summon if you have mystic mine on the field.. it just makes it easier for your opponent to out the mine since even if barrier statue was to stick around the opponent could just tribut summon until they control the same number of monsters as you do..
In theory, it would keep your opponent from going into Accesscode to out the Mine the way MBT did here. It didn't work because of the set Imperm.
@@gregoryford2532 sure but why even risk it. Once mine is on the field there is nothing the opponent can do other than drawing the out.
