I have never seen this process. Generally we use grafting from a fully grown lemon tree to propagate a new lemon plants. Generally the plant from grafting gives fruits from 3rd year onwards and the quality of the lemons are exactly similar to the original plant.
You can do it. There are a lot of propagation method cutting, Air layering, grafting, leaves and from seeds, tissue etc. I have cutting, air layering, leaves method you can watch them.
@@greenmaniac4650I think the technique of planting from leaves will also bear fruit quickly if the leaves are taken from a tree that is fruiting as is the case in the branch cutting technique.
I never knew this was possible. I always grew citric form seed and it took forever to fruit and sometimes it doesn't produce the fruit of the original tree. It gives me a different kind. I will use this method from now on. This system, roots seems to be much stronger than from the cutting method. Thank you so much for sharing.
The multiple root system is the same as grafting two plants together. This will actually accelerate the growth&maturity for the plant when it's growing fruits. Eventually one or two will become dominant&integrate the other plants' roots but this helps a lot. Unfortunately not a lot of other fruits propagate this successfully.
